The 1-bedroom guest unit includes all kitchen conveniences, a living room and separate bedroom with a full bath. Private patio include a BBQ, ambient lighting, sun-shade, outdoor heater and shower.

Petite Retreat; Artist Studio

Our detached Spanish-style artist’s studio is within a 3 to 15 minute walk of all the best restaurants and shops in the lower Village of Montecito. It is an easy four block walk from the patio to beautiful Butterfly Beach. It is cozy, private and has a fabulous, hot, outside shower ! (Note; this shower is the only shower for the studio). Gaze at the stars while rinsing off the sand ! The studio space is small, and cozy, warm radiant concrete floors can be turned on in the chillier months.

Having traveled the world, I appreciate people from all cultures and proclivities. I welcome you, your family, friends and pets to enjoy my family home, which is tastefully curated with art, books and antiques collected for generations. I lovingly tend the 1/2 acre of gardens which you are welcome to explore. One of my greatest joys in life is to offer my piece of paradise to the world. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, this unit is perfect for a nice getaway retreat. We are a short distance (3.5 blocks) from the beach stairs (241 steps); a beautiful bluff-front park (Douglas Family Preserve); Shoreline Park; close to great restaurants; a lovely organic market; and just a short drive (~7 minutes) to State Street and Santa Barbara's famed Funk Zone.

This sunlit garden suite is located in the heart of the Butterfly Beach neighborhood of Montecito and is the perfect setting for a couple’s romantic getaway or a solo traveler seeking a serene environment. The suite offers a private entrance in the back of our home which is located on a quiet cul-de-sac. It is a mere 6-minute walk to either Butterfly Beach or Coast Village Road, which is known for its distinctive boutiques and restaurants.
