Great home to stay in with a family. Lots of kid friendly amenities. Walking to great cafes and delicious restaurants as well as a park. Love the hot tube and deck decor - truly a great place to lounge and relax.

Vanessa's place is in a very very quiet neighborhood just steps from the bay. I am a SD native, I know the city very well. I actually lived in the area for many years. This place is totally worth it if your traveling with a family with kids. Plenty to do, plenty of space to sit and relax inside and outside. It has plenty of things to keep kids busy from books to toys very very nice touch. If available when we return definitely will be staying here. The short walk to watch the sunset in the ocean is worth every penny..

My family and I came down for our daughter's spring break. We wanted a quiet comfortable home for the kids and centrally located to take our day trips to Legoland, the Midway, and SeaWorld. This spot was perfect for all of this. Host was responsive, property was beautiful, and was also close to shopping centers. We will definitely see if this space is available during our next San Diego trip.

House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

What a lovely home! We spent 5 days here with our family of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious and open, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the pool and watching airplanes take off and land in the distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

Had a weeklong stay and enjoyed the house and all the amenities. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, the neighborhood was peaceful and quite and a neighborhood market directly across the street. There was a small park two blocks from the house, perfect walking distance with lots of restaurants, an ice cream shop and a local brewery. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all messages. Would definitely recommend this home to any of my friends and will be my go to on my next trip to San Diego.

We had a wonderful stay! The house and backyard were incredibly spacious—plenty of room for both kids and pets to play and enjoy themselves. It was such a treat to have both a hot tub and a pool, especially since the weather was on the chillier side during our weekend. The neighbors have dogs, but they were friendly and didn’t bother us or our pup, which we appreciated. We loved that the home was walking distance to a grocery store, a pharmacy, and Hilltop Park which is dog-friendly. The neighborhood itself is very walkable and pet-friendly, something our whole family truly enjoyed. Overall, this was a memorable and comfortable place to stay for our multigenerational family vacation. We’d definitely return!

I love that the kitchen was very well stocked! If you like to cook it’s great! The backyard was beautiful my kids loved the resort feel. We visited for a graduation for my nephew from the Marines boot camp. The location was about 20-25 minutes from base which was so easy because you’re close to the freeway! The house was perfect for our stay! The box truck in the front yard was a throw off when we arrived but once inside you didn’t notice it was there. The house is very cute and full of everything you need to have a great stay! Thank you Brian for being a great host!

My family of 4 stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was comfortable with a beautiful outdoor area and comfortable interior with everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Don is a super responsive host. The location could not be any better, especially for the price point. The place is very basic however based on the location, I can understand why as there is a lot to do outdoors as you are a few steps away from the beach and everything else, shops, restaurants, amusement park and so much more. You are minutes away from the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Old Town and the Gas Lamp District. This location is not only good for folks with children but also great for young adults as there is plenty of night life a short walk away. We are from Los Angeles, however we felt as though we were vacationing in another states hot spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. I highly recommend it! Richard was a great host, I had my family visiting from Italy stay at his place. There are two comfortable bedrooms, a really cute kitchen and a living room. One bathroom. The place is a but old, but there was everything they needed and it is well maintained. Also well cleaned. My favorite part was how communicative and responsive Richard was.

We stayed at Marjorie and Dan’s house with a group of 8 that fit our two families well. The outdoor patio was great and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the orange tree. Marjorie and Dan communicated well. There was some street construction going on outside the house but the neighborhood remained quiet and peaceful at night. Had a great stay!

This is a great place to stay; loved the deck where in nice weather one could eat outdoors, great views, bright due to large sliding doors in the rooms, liked 3 bathrooms as there were 3 couples, Jamie was helpful whenever we had a question, the place was very clean and new looking, we would happily stay again!!

This was the perfect homebase for me and my daughter for our spring break getaway. Loved having the driveway for parking. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. One block from the beach! And a short drive to all the touristy spots. Would definitely come again.

Laura is a very responsible and thoughtful host. The house was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The house itself is lovely, well-maintained, and spotless. It's in a super convenient location—within walking distance to a park, restaurants, and more. Parking was also very easy, which made things even better. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

This location is ideal for quick pickups and is conveniently close to popular tourist spots. A vehicle is recommended for easy access. The presence of fruit trees adds a delightful touch, making it a very sweet and appealing place to stay. Will stay here again!

One block walk to Ocean Beach. A variety of casual restaurants/eateries/coffee shops within walking distance. The neighborhood was overall clean and felt safe. We were able to find parking on the street within 1-2 blocks. Good communication with host. Would stay again.

Location was great. Grocery store, a few bars, yoga studio and several restaurants right around the corner. If you’re willing to walk little further (mile or 2) there are ton of options. There is a Bus line that goes right by the house too, but I didn’t have reason to try the mass transit as we did rent a car. Having a drive way was a big positive. Street parking looked tough to find close to the house. We Cooked 2 different nights and had everything we needed. There is avocado tree in the back yard. None of avocados were ripe enough to do anything with.
