‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

Sit back, relax and enjoy the ambience that will surround you in our stunning new one bedroom house boat. Situated near the pretty village of East Hoathly, East Sussex, set on our picturesque one acre lake. Feel at one with nature from inside the beautifully decorated interior, with log burner, fully fitted kitchen, modern toilet/shower room, double aspect bedroom, with windows that allow the outside in. East Hoathly has a pub, coffee shop and village shop a 10 min walk away or 1 min drive.

Winter retreat - sauna, cold plunge pond & hot tub

Spa with hot tub and sauna all heated via a log burner for the ultimate retreat break. Guest house in large gardens, king sized bed, small kitchen and en-suite. Many local attractions near Brighton Gatwick Airport and the South Downs! Pull out double sofa bed, works well for smaller family’s. Stunning 25 meter swimming pond, water is crystal clear. Large deck and sun-loungers by the swimming pond. We use the garden too, it’s part of our home but there is plenty of opportunity for privacy.

Countryside setting within a convenient location.

Set in lovely countryside, the Stables Flat is a private one bedroom apartment decorated in a modern style. It is part of a stable yard that is no longer in use. Guests and their dogs are welcome to enjoy the paddocks and small patch of woodland that form part of the property. There are lots of circular country walks including dog friendly pubs and the Bolney wine estate and cafe. Being close to the A23 and A272, gives easy access to Brighton, Hickstead, Gatwick and Nymans gardens.

Orchard Garden Cabin

We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is a decking area around the cabin with a fire pit plus table and chairs for dining alfresco or just enjoy the fresh air. We are surrounded by fields located about 1 mile from the village and pubs. You can head out for a county walk right from the door step. Several National trust properties in the area. As of May 2025, we have extended the drive way to make parking easier. Guests have space for one car to park on the driveway.

The Potting Shed, 2 bed cosy countryside retreat

The Potting Shed is a family-run luxury guest house in a newly converted outbuilding (old potting shed!) offering guests a fusion of traditional country life with the comforts of all the mod-cons. Located in the picturesque village of Balcombe, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Potting Shed feels peacefully remote, yet has the convenience of being a short walk to the train station - just 8 mins to Gatwick, 40 mins to London and 20 mins to Brighton.

Spacious, self-contained, well-equipped, one-bedroom garden annex in a quiet part of Lewes. We are 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre and Lewes station, and 5 minutes to the South Downs. Lewes is a vibrant town with an interesting history and close to Brighton. Our recently refurbished annex is perfect for relaxing, exploring the local area, visiting family or whilst travelling for work. It has a light, modern feel, and generously-sized rooms.

Former Game keepers lodge with woodburner

Sheffield Park lodge is a special place to stay & has a style all its own. Formerly a game keepers lodge for the house on the Sheffield Park Estate (now a National Trust Garden), the lodge has been lovingly restored. Sitting in 14 acres of meadow and woodland, the lodge shares the driveway to our home while providing privacy. You will be perfectly located to explore the beauty, the heritage and excitement that East Sussex has to offer.

The unique Courtyard Cottage is situated in next to our home, nestled under the beautiful South Downs National Park. It is 10 minutes walk across the field to the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint. It is only 15 minutes to Brighton and an hour from London. It's the perfect destination, whether you're looking for a countryside, city or seaside retreat!

Burghurst Lodge

Self-contained accommodation sympathetically converted from an old cart shed set in a courtyard opposite the owners' house. The property is on a quiet lane close to the centre of Horsted Keynes. There are two pubs and a small shop in the village within walking distance. Dogs are allowed on request. Electric car charging available, payable on use.

Situated close to Effingham Park, the cabin is in a private residence on a private residential estate surrounded by woodland. This detached, self contained Annexe is a stand alone cabin adjacent to our Cottage. There is a secure private entrance & ample parking. There are local Pubs/restaurants and other amenities nearby.
