We stayed here only for one night on a road trip. It would be perfect for a beach vacation as well, as it is right on the water and walking distance to restaurants. And yes, the terrace in the pictures is big, beautiful and only for this airbnb! The only draw back is there isn't much indoor seating for many people.

Where do I start! This has to be one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in anywhere in the world and fitted our needs perfectly. Firstly, we had the warmest welcome from Marisca who showed us around, gave us a fab recommendations for dinner & together with Carmelo, proved to be the perfect hosts who felt like real friends by the time we left. The apartment is stylishly presented, spotlessly clean, has quality appliances & bedding, smells gorgeous, is so comfortable, quiet & private with a sensational balcony! It’s spacious, covered and has the most magical view across to Sicily. The weather wasn’t especially kind to us but we didn’t care as it was so beautiful and peace just watching the waves away from the hustle & bustle though Reggio Calabria is only a short drive away. Marisca & Carmelo are the most wonderful people, made us feel so welcome & we can’t thank them enough for their generous hospitality. This was the highlight of our holiday and we’d love to return.

We loved our stay! We will 100% stay here again when we come to visit family. The apartment was very clean- the bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and had a lovely balcony and view! The location is perfect- we would wake up everyday and walk right across the street to the beach. Beatrice was a great host- very responsive and helpful when we needed assistance with anything!

Great apartment fully equipped with a great variety of kitchen utensils for cooking own meals, very cosy apartment and very comfy bed, great location close walking to everything, far enough away from busy lower beach area to be quiet at night, but also close enough to enjoy beach and restaurants in the day. We enjoyed a quiet few drinks and food at Felix Cafe very close by, we highly recommend for 🍸 food and coffee ☕️

Ottima location, non posso aggiungere altra, raggiungibile in pochi minuti da Reggio Calbria. Alloggio spazioso, curato, luminoso e ben diposto. Per essere un appoggio al mare per una famiglia di 4 persone va molto bene. Il tramonto sulle Eolie è spettacolare. Mate é veramente molto cortese e disponibile, anche se è a migliaia di Km di distanza. Sicuramente, Mate ci sentirà di nuovo per le nostre prossime vacanze da quelle parti.

È una casa bella è dotata di tutto, la posizione strategica a poca distanza da tutto sia dal mare che dal centro città con ottimi collegamenti autobus e treno vicinissimi. La vera peculiarità è che Giovanni ti fa sentire a casa. E con lui tutto il palazzo ti accoglie e ti accompagna nel soggiorno. Atmosfera calda e gentile e inquilini simpatici e premurosi. Abbiamo soggiornato per un periodo abbastanza lungo e ci siamo ritrovati a affezionarci a “casa Mimma” e tutto il palazzo che non ci ha fatto sentire mai soli sempre con discrezione e cortesia. Giovanni è gentilissimo e sempre pronto a qualsiasi cosa, è pragmatico e intraprendente. La casa è una piccola oasi nella giungla della città. Accuratamente ristrutturata e arredata da poco, si vede la cura dei dettagli e l’attenzione per l’ospite.Dal balconcino si vede il mare e la Sicilia. A pochi metri si trova la strada principale con un supermercato fornito,casalinghi,tabaccaio Consigliamo questo alloggio caloroso e confortevole

Siamo stati molto soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno in questo B&B! La posizione è ottima, comoda per visitare la città, sul lungomare e con molte attività nei dintorni. La struttura è accogliente e pulita, dotata di tutti i comfort necessari in un appartamento. Ma ciò che ci ha colpito di più è la gentilezza e la disponibilità dell'host, sia Paolo ma soprattutto il figlio Giacomo sempre pronto a rispondere alle nostre esigenze. Consigliamo vivamente questo B&B a chiunque cerchi un alloggio confortevole e ben posizionato. 5 stelle meritate! Torneremo sicuramente 😊

Loved the location and the quaint apartment. We would have given it 5 stars but ac and water took a star away. The municipality had water restrictions on the town which was an issue. It meant that they only provided water between 7am-10am 3:30-7pm. We ran out of water 2x’s, one day completely. The town didn’t provide water that day! We used the bathroom of a local business that must of had a big enough water tank and showered/rinsed off at the beach club showers outside. It was August, it was hot and one small room didn’t have air conditioning. So we pulled the mattress into our room from the couch and I moved into my sister’s room so that we could all sleep in air conditioning. Marco and Lilli were very helpful and quick to respond. I would go back even though we had these situations. Next time- I will use my empty water bottles to store extra water! (Maybe that should be in the notes! ) I love Scilla!

Fint og praktisk hus med alt det man trenger! Veldig rent. Herlig stor terrasse med utsikt til havet. Rent og fint basseng like i nærheten. Gåavstand til strand, gratis solsenger og parasoller. Krystallklart vann. Vi fikk rask og god hjelp av Britta og co da AC i stuen ikke virket. Dette stedet kan virkelig anbefales!

Nous sommes restées pour une semaine et avons adoré le logement ainsi que la ville de Bova Marina, tout était facilement accessible à pied et nous nous sommes retrouvées bien accueillies :) La gare et la mer ne sont à même pas 5 minutes du logement, les paysages sont superbes et le quartier très calme. Nous espérons revenir pour une plus longue durée !

We have entirely enjoyed our stay at Anna’ s accommodation. The apartment is located in the old town and there are several good restaurants around the apartment, one of which was recommended by Anna. The communication with the host has been smooth. I hope that we can come back.

Das Haus ist wirklich top für eine größere Familie! Es hat alles was man braucht. Schönen Meerblick von der Riesen Terrasse einfach herrlich. Paolo und sein Team hat alles dafür getan das es uns gut geht. Echt Top Urlaub! Danke für alles

Villa Ulivo è stata per noi una bella sorpresa! Casa piccola ma con tutto e di più! Ottimo il giardino, la lavatrice e anche la lavastoviglie. Il top è stato avere AC nelle stanze, poi la possibilità di verdure freschissime dall'orto del padre di Enrico. E infine la compagnia di 2 simpatici cagnolini. Un posto che vale la pena di andare.

Ogromne mieszkanie z 3 balkonami, ogromnym salonem, oddzielną kuchnią i dwiema łazienkami. Pełne wyposażenie. Pralka, żelazko, kosmetyki i dodatkowe ręczniki. Wspaniali właściciele, którzy zaopiekowali się nami znakomicie. Dali wskazówki udanego pobytu. Wspaniała lokalizacja. Minuta drogi do morza, restauracji. 5 minutą do lokalnego sklepu pachnącego Włochami. 7 minut na dworzec PKP. Polecamy spacer do Catony, podróż na Sycylię tramwajem wodnym, wizytę w Melito di Porto Salve. Polecam serdecznie wszystkim szukających prawdziwych Włoch.

We kregen een bijzonder hartelijk welkom in het heerlijke huis direct aan het strand. Vrienden van Enzo stonden klaar met uitgebreide informatie en een lekkere fles rosé (dank Ewa en Salvatore!). De supermarkt en een geweldige koffiebar zijn op loopafstand. Het huis is niet bijzonder luxe ingericht maar daar ben je niet vaak. Op het strand, op het balkon of onder het huis in de schaduw is het erg fijn! De airco in iedere kamer werkt uitstekend. De trein komt een paar keer per uur dicht langs het huis, maar 's nachts rijdt hij niet. Dan is het lekker rustig. Wij bevelen het huis zeker aan!

Graziella and Antonio are very welcoming and responsive and made us feel like family. Graziella greeted us and gave us a thorough tour of the house and the grounds. The Villa is well equipped and spacious with a stunning view of the Strait of Messina and Sicily. The Villa is located minutes from the city of Reggio and easy access to other towns in the region. We had an amazing time and hope to return one day.

Rosina was such a graceful and attentive host. She made delicious breakfast every morning and made sure you felt right at home. She was so service minded and kind. Cannot fault the host or the space.

Ottima esperienza. Manuela è stata sempre disponibile, dalla prenotazione al check-out. Casa provvista di qualsiasi prodotto per la pulizia da utilizzare durante il soggiorno. Ci siamo davvero trovati bene, come se fossimo a casa. Consigliatissimo. 100/100

Carlo is a very friendly and welcoming host. The apartment is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We slept incredibly well from the first night - the waves are right below the apartment, exactly as described. We were very happy with our stay, and sad to leave. Die Wohnung im ersten Obergeschoss der Villa, die über ein grosszügiges Entrée betreten wird. Sie ist sehr hell und stylish durch die bunten Fliesen, welche in allen Räumen verlegt sind. Ausserdem ist sie sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Giuseppe hat uns bereits eine grosszügige Auswahl von Lebensmitteln bereitgestellt - der erste Espresso, die erste Spaghettata konnte gekocht werden und viele Säfte standen bereit. Ausserdem wurden wir in den 9 Tagen unserer Anwesenheit mehrmals mit frischen Eiern verwöhnt und am Sonntag gab es frische Patisserie aus der lokalen Pasticceria. Herrlich! Wir konnten das Meer vom Balkon durch die Bäume des Nachbargrundstücks unter der Schirmpinie schimmern sehen und wir haben die Nähe zum wunderbaren Sand-/Kieselstrand genossen - jeden Morgen war unser erstes Ziel ein Bad im klaren warmen türkisfarbenen Wasser. Giuseppe und Carmen sind sehr sympathische umsichtige Gastgeber, die sich sehr gut gekümmert haben. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im AirBnB. Der Check-In und check out war sehr flexibel, da wir nachts ankamen und auch nachts wieder gegangen sind. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Ausstattung entsprechend der Beschreibung. Das WLAN hätte bessere Verbindung haben können, aber ansonsten hat alles gepasst :)

Very comfortable and clean fully equipped apartment. Very accessible for my family of 4. Convenient location to entire area and highways. Close to a supermarket. The air conditioner was a big plus as it is not typical for the area. Plus as an added bonus there is a small clothes washer. I highly recommend — particularly for families.

Casa da poco ristrutturata, ottimamente accessoriata. Tante le attenzioni, dal trovare in casa vari generi alimentari, prodotti per la cura della persona e per l'uso della cucina, alla disponibilità quotidiana della proprietaria Federica nel soddisfare ogni necessità. La casa è di fronte ad un mare trasparente, in spiaggia si riesce ad avere buoni spazi anche in agosto, il parcheggio in strada è facile da trovare.

This apartment has a spacious seaside balcony, with direct access to the beach. The apartment is clean, and the washing machine is a plus. Francesco maintains excellent communication, and is a good man.
