Beautiful 3 Bed Apartment (Walk to the beach)

Lucy and Carlos are fantastic hosts. The location and amenities of their place could not be beat in Manta Rota. We were four adults and two young children. They provided a baby bed, high chair, baby bath. The bedroom and bathroom amenities and linens are like you would expect at a luxury hotel, plus the “liveability” of a condo. The kitchen had every possible thing you would need, including thoughtfully supplied drinks and fruit to get us started. The outdoor grill oven was easy and fun to use. The pool is lovely, nice sized and the complex is not too big so at times we even had it to ourselves (note it is not heated). It was an easy walk to the beach which was perfect for kids, to the town square and small central mercado, and to excellent take out places and a decent sized small supermarket they recommended. On top of that, they took great care to make sure we were comfortable, even providing a new WiFi extender when we couldn’t connect on the upstairs floor. We hope to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay — it was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we needed as a base to explore the Algarve. Andreas was a fantastic host: friendly, helpful, and genuinely a pleasure to chat with. The accommodation itself is a beautifully converted barn, from the cozy log burner to the spacious kitchen and bathroom, and the hugest, most comfortable bed I’ve ever seen! We especially enjoyed doing yoga in the beautiful garden and soaking up the sun by the pool. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we’re already planning to come back soon to enjoy it all over again — and to explore more of the local culture in lovely towns nearby like Olhão and Loulé. Thank you, Andreas and Bettina, for creating such a special space!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Filipe in Tavira! Die Unterkunft war sauber, komfortabel und ideal gelegen, um die charmante Stadt und die wunderschönen Strände zu erkunden. Filipe war ein herausragender Gastgeber – stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell in der Beantwortung unserer Fragen. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ließ keine Wünsche offen und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Besonders gefallen hat uns der gemütliche Außenbereich, perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem Tag voller Erkundungen. Wir können Filipes Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der einen unvergesslichen und entspannten Urlaub in Tavira erleben möchte. Vielen Dank für die großartige Gastfreundschaft!

Rural Haven: Charming modern Cottage in Talurdo

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

Wir waren total zufrieden mit der Unterkunft! Bei kleineren Problemen war Nuno sofort zur Stelle und hat diese behoben. Leider war es im April noch ziemlich frisch und es war schwierig das Haus warm zu bekommen, aber es war trotzdem ein wundervoller Urlaub!!! Unser größtes Highlight war definitiv der beheizte Pool! Alle haben ihn geliebt.

We stayed for 5 days. The home is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay, whether you’re with family or friends, it has it all. The pool is the heart of the house, offering stunning views over the valley. We had asked for pool heating and it was delivered just as promised. When we arrived, the water was already at a pleasant 29–30°C, allowing us to enjoy evening swims comfortably. My children spent most of their time In the basement there, playing either ping pong or darts. The kitchen is very well equipped, with modern appliances, and the coffee machine works great too. The Smart TV is excellent, you can easily log into your favorite streaming accounts. The rooms are spacious, each with its own AC unit. There’s one en-suite bedroom, two more on the upper floor, and two additional bedrooms in the basement. You’ll also find a bathroom on every level, including one on the main floor where the kitchen and living room are located. A big thanks to the hosts.

Lovely accommodation, very well equipped (especially for children). We had a really nice holiday here. Close to supermarkets, the beach and a few restaurants but also a good base to explore eastern algarve.

Detached country cottage with pool near to Silves

It was +30-32C outside but in house it was chill during day and at night, very pleasant to sleep. Pool house is perfect for hot days like this. We spent majority of time there. You have to walk on common street ~30 steps until pool house but 99% of the time we met no one outside, so it didn’t bother us. Bed is comfy. I especially loved how it’s possible to achieve pitch black effect in bedroom with all windows and shades closed — even when there’s lot of light outside. That helped my sleep. Pool house has everything for cooking, all our meals we made ourselves there. It’s very private, impossible for anyone to see you inside pool. Hosts were respectful, they needed to clean pool twice, always asked in advance when they can come. I had special request about my allergies and cleaning detergents and they accommodated me. I hope to return here!! And I recommend this to folks who appreciate calm chill time by the pool, cooking own meals. Huge thanks to hosts!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in September. The apartment is beautiful, very spacious & clean. Well appointed - there were even tuppaware boxes for us to use! The beds are comfy & good shower pressure. Lovely terrace. Quiet area but only 1 street behind the front & 5 minutes walk to the boat for the beach. Maria was a brilliant host - very friendly & communicative & flexible with our check in needs. We would definitely come back to stay another time & recommend 100% to others. Thanks again x

Eine sehr ruhig gelegene und gemütliche Unterkunft . Vom Balkon aus hört man am Morgen wunderbares Vogelgezwitscher :). Der Supermark ist sehr praktisch in Fussdistanz gelegen. Speziell geschätzt habe ich, dass man den Pool nutzen konnte. Die Kommunikation war sehr proaktiv und auf Anliegen und Fragen wurde umgehend eingegangen. Vielen Dank.

Darrens Apartment ist der perfekte Ort, um die Gegend von Conceição und Cabanas zu erkunden. Sie liegt ruhig in einem Wohngebiet und ist dennoch nah genug an den Hauptstraßen um alles gut zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt: Alles ist sehr modern eingerichtet und in sehr gutem Zustand. Betten und Sofa sind äußerst bequem, sodass man hier gut relaxen und schlafen kann. Die Bäder sind modern und mit allem ausgestattet. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, sodass man richtig kochen kann. Die Geräte sind hochmodern und funktionieren gut. Das Kochgeschirr ist neu und in allen Größen vorhanden, sodass man alle Mahlzeiten gut zubereiten kann. Sogar die Messer haben eine hohe Qualität, Vom Balkon hat man eine tolle Aussicht und kann den Sonnenuntergang genießen zudem gibt es einen guten Gasgrill. Die Kommunikation mit Co-Gastgeberin Maria war extrem freundlich und schnell. Alles wurde extrem zuvorkommend und flexibel geregelt, sodass wir einen perfekten Aufenthalt hatten. Vielen Dank :-)

Gorgeous flat. Felt very homely and was well equipped with everything we needed during the stay. We loved the balcony with a view overlooking Tavira. We really enjoyed being in a quiet neighbourhood but being able to be in town in 10-15 mins walk. Jose was also really friendly and gave us lots of local recommendations! Would highly recommend :)

Wij werden al opgewacht door John en Angie. Vriendelijk ontvangst. Vol enthousiasme werd er van alles verteld over de B&B. John en Angie gaven ons een zeer welkom gevoel. Ook hun hondje en twee poezen kwamen ons elke dag even begroeten. De B&B is erg gezellig en comfortabel ingericht. Heerlijk buiten zitten op het terras en genieten van de tuin en het uitzicht. Wij gaan zeker weer een keer terug. Het is een echte aanrader, zeker voor mensen die niet in de overvolle toeristische plekken willen zitten. Groetjes Eddy & Christel.

es war eine traumhafte zeit in diesem schönen Appartement. die Ausstattung war perfekt für unseren Familien Urlaub an der Algarve. wir würden sofort wieder kommen. Stunning property in a very quiet area, nothing walkable. really lovely villa with lots of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Difficult to find in the dark but was met by the host and followed them to the property, everything was explained and very friendly service.

A Inês foi bastante comunicativa e disponível antes, durante e depois da nossa estadia. A casa estava em linha com as expectativas e fica perto da praia e da zona central de Altura. Tem um bom espaço e bastantes opções de entretenimento. Em geral, gostámos muito e recomendamos!

Das Stadthaus von Paula ist ein wahres Juwel! Die Einrichtung ist extrem geschmackvoll und hochwertig. Die Lage ist ruhig in einer Sackgasse nahe der Kirche. Von den beiden Terrassen hat man einen grandiosen Ausblick über Silves. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le logement etait identique aux photos, idéalement situé pour découvrir l'algarve sans subir l'agitation touristique quand on rentre. l'extérieur est parfait pour des moments de détente au soleil avec transats douche exterieur et barbecue. nous n'hésiterons pas à relouer cet hébergement si nous revenons dans cette région. merci à jorge pour sa réactivité. ne pas hésiter à louper ce logement c'est satisfaction assurée 😉

Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Straße zentraler Lage der kleinen Stadt. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Besonders von Dachterrasse hat meinen einen herrlichen Blick über die Gegend und man kann herrlichen den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. In der Umgebung sind Playas de Cartaya wunderschön und man kann die langen Sandstrände genießen.

O apartamento localiza-se numa urbanização tipo condomínio fechado, num bloco com a melhor vista de todo o empreendimento. No terraço/ varanda de trás encontramos tudo para desfrutar das vistas e do bom tempo, sofás e cadeirões, almofadas e 2 espreguiçadeiras. No interior, as fotografias falam por si, mas tudo é uma preciosidade, sobretudo para quem aprecia detalhes. O único senão é o facto de a piscina ter horário restrito, é pena não dar para ir de manhã. De resto, precisa de ir de carro para fazer compras, tomar refeições, ir à praia, etc. No geral, uma experiência muito positiva!

Foram umas férias Maravilhosas! A Vanessa e os pais foram muito atenciosos e estiveram sempre disponíveis. É o 2 ano que vamos de férias para esta casa e é excepcional, principalmente para quem tem crianças pequenas. Tem acesso direto (com um portão) ao relvado e piscina o que é excelente para desfrutar com os miúdos. A praia fica mesmo ao lado do condomínio. Praticamente não precisamos de sair com o carro. Têm tudo à porta, desde supermercados e restaurantes. Havemos de voltar!

Desde la llegada nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Fantástico trato y maravilloso loft. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado. Los electrodomésticos son nuevos por lo que están en perfectas condiciones. La cercanía a la playa y tranquilidad del vecindario son un plus a tener en cuenta. Muy satisfecho en todos los sentidos. Muchas gracias por todo!
