Experience a nostalgic Showa-era Japanese home in Kyoto Yawata. Stay in a traditional house with tatami rooms, sliding doors, and a unique retro atmosphere rarely found today. Enjoy a peaceful local neighborhood with easy access to Kyoto and Osaka. This is a traditional Japanese house built in 1976 and has not been fully renovated. You may notice some signs of age, which are part of the charm and character of a Showa-era home. Please note that we provide traditional Japanese futon bedding (not Western-style beds). Enjoy sleeping on futon on tatami mats.

This is a cozy Japanese style house with modern conveniences of updated kitchen and bathroom. If you want to experience what it’s like to live in Japan, here’s your chance! Your home away from home in Kyoto. This is an entire home rental for max 6 person stay. There are three (3) bedrooms on the 2nd floor: 1 doublebed (1-2 person) + 2 Tatami rooms with 2 double mattress futon beds (2-4 person). We also have 2 additional single mattress beds. Good for 1-2 families or group – max 6 person.

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.
