Enjoy our rustic cabin on the beautiful Brazos River. Our cabin is one large room with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Grain silos have been converted to awesome restroom and shower facilities. Outside area includes a covered deck as well as an open deck. Charcoal grill available for outdoor cooking. Large fire pit for relaxing by the fire! It is located behind the main house with private parking in the historic Castle Heights/Austin Ave neighborhood. Minutes from downtown restaurants and nightlife, Magnolia/Silos, and Baylor. Perfect for romantic getaways, Baylor parents and alumni, Magnolia fans, those visiting family in Waco, business travelers or house hunters.

Cozy Cabin in the Country 101

Come enjoy the sunset on the porch of this modern cabin located in the country away from the hustle and noise of the city. Our cabin is located in a field next to grazing livestock. This cabin offers plenty of patio seating, a king size bed and a loft with twin beds. Our kitchenette is equipped with a hot plate and basic utensils for preparing a simple meal. A microwave and mini fridge are included. There is not an oven. There is a gas grill which is shared with both cabins.

The German Schmear Cottage

The German Schmear Cottage is tucked away on a quiet street in the Mountainview area. It is centrally located (HEB, Target, and Starbucks are right down the road) and only 10-15 minutes from downtown, the Silos, and Baylor. Once a detached garage, this 400 square foot space is now a cozy, modern living space and is on the property of the main German Schmear (fixer upper) house, which is also a vacation rental.
