Paved drive/parking area. Short drive to I-81 and I-70 20 mins to Hagerstown 15 mins to Chambersburg 20 mins to Whitetail Ski Resort 1.5 hrs to Baltimore/Washington

The Resting Place

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in a small town nestled in the valley of the Appalachian mountains. Ten minutes from turnpike Exit 180 - Fort Littleton/McConnellsburg. Or a small hop off Route 30. This little haven is close to 2 State Parks. Meadow Grounds is wonderful for fishing and has a great tail to hike to Jarret Falls. Cowens Gap is a smaller lake, but has rental boats, fishing, a swimming beach, and 1 easy, 6 moderate & 5 hard trails to hike. Trails are on the All Trails app.

The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Adorable one-bedroom apartment with separate entrance. Located 10 minutes from downtown Chambersburg. Whether its historical sight-seeing, culturally diverse restaurants, or local craft beer, there is plenty to see and do in this area. Built in 2021, this apartment is on the lower level of our custom built home. It also has a treadmill in the gym. We live upstairs with our two children and two dogs. We maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. Pet friendly, No smoking, No parties.

Creekside Cottage

Creekside Cottage is a lovely two-bedroom cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens with a back deck that makes you feel like you are living in a tree house. This is the perfect spot to relax and recharge. There are beautiful views of Back Creek from the deck where you can bird watch and hopefully catch sight of one of our local bald eagles. You'll feel right at home with this spacious kitchen that is well-stocked. Walking distance to Twin Bridge Camp. NO SMOKING NO PARTIES.

Farm House Breezwood, 4 bedrooms

Come to the country where you can watch the wildlife and see amazing sunsets. Plenty of attractions biking, hiking and kayaking. The home has been completely remodeled . Enjoy the spacious open concept family room that meets the kitchen, or the large living room for quiet comfort. Four bedrooms, and a full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs. Perhaps just sit on one of the front porch rockers or by the fire pit in the evening. We do not allow pets at this property.

Private 4BR Hideaway | Pavilion & Firepit

The Parnell Hideaway nestled in the woods of south central Pennsylvania offers a spacious home for up to 8 guests. This retreat features two king and two queen bedrooms, two full-size bathrooms and an open kitchen-dining-living room area. With designated spaces for games, reading and work, plus a laundry room, the Parnell Hideaway offers ample room for relaxation and productivity. Outdoor amenities include a pavilion, picnic table, propane grill, firepit and corn hole.

Purple Kangaroo Cottages

Don't miss the late October foliage in picturesque Little Cove PA. The cottage offers a stylish/warm atmosphere for couples to connect with each other and the outdoors. The outdoor fireplace/pit gazing at the stars is must see entertainment. This intimate getaway will provide for making wonderful memories in a scenic, relaxing location free from the bothers of normal life, with WIFI. Cottage can be used as a venue, pricing is then negotiable. No smoking!

Village Homestead-Whitetail, Cowans Gap, Academy

Comfortable, vintage two-story frame home nestled in the village of Lemasters—a quiet, country community with a lovely view of the Tuscarora mountains. Close to Whitetail Ski/Golf Resort, Cowans Gap, and minutes from the historic town of Mercersburg and the Mercersburg Academy. The large backyard has a patio and is completely enclosed with a fence. Single-family, detached home—wonderful for a family gathering. WiFi available. Pet friendly.
