The Lure is a fully renovated 1940s fishing cabin reimagined into romantic waterfront retreat for 2 on the glacial waters of Round Pond in Lake Harmony. Designed for couples, this home pairs vintage charm with modern indulgence--private hot tub beneath the stars, crackling wood-burning fireplace, fire lit evenings by the shore, and quiet mornings drifting by canoe. Secluded yet moments from adventure: hiking, dining, skiing, Jim Thorpe, and Pocono Raceway--where romance lingers and time slows.

Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Linens are included with this cabin (bedding, pillows, towels, wash clothes, soaps, shampoo, etc.)

Creekside Cabin - Creek, Pond & Indoor Fireplace

Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

Enjoy the best of both worlds with this peaceful and centrally-located cabin. It sits beautifully on 6 acres of wooded surroundings. Enjoy the convenience of being a mile away from downtown Jim Thorpe to check out shops and entertainment on Broadway, ride a bike trail, or swim at Mauch Chunk Lake. This cabin was built by hand and has a modern flare on the interior. The backyard oasis is yours to enjoy including a hot tub, sauna, pavilion, propane grill, outdoor fireplace, tables, and chairs.

Drive into your private campsite immediately you will hear the sounds of a babbling creek, by giant rhododendrons under magnificent hemlocks and oaks--a truly natural and relaxing experience. Campers can enjoy a short hike to our private waterfall with a swimming hole. This site is surrounded by over 400 privately owned acres of natural forests with several miles of marked trails. The campsite is adjoined by over 8,000 acres of public land.
