If you want to experience world class fishing at the beach & off the dock, with all the comforts of home, then this is the place for you. We fell in love w/Sargent in 2020 & bought Salt Creek Retreat in 2022. After almost a year of renovations we are ready to share our family retreat. We love to get away & relax in this peaceful setting & love the people/atmosphere in Sargent. We know you will too!

Water-front property located right on “Caney Creek” that is more like a river, plenty deep for swimming, fishing, & kayaking. Leads out into the Gulf of Mexico. 5-7 minute drive to Sargent Beach. Fully stocked with kitchen gadgets and bedrooms designed for luxury. Set up with multiple family use in mind. We often bring 2-3 families with several kiddos to enjoy the space. • Kayaks included with rental. • Large deck and fishing pier. Perfect for enjoying the water and sun with family & friends.

Fish Upon a Star

This lovely Coastal home is Handicap accessible & sits on the creek!! Perfect for fishing right in your own backyard as well as easy access to E. Matagorda Bay via boat & Sargent Beach is just a short drive away. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 queen & 2 Kings, as well as a twin. Walk in showers in both bathrooms. There's plenty of room to BBQ & relax in the fenced in back yard. Canoeing is encouraged & one is provided for your enjoyment, but please bring your own life jackets & fishing poles!

Brazoria Riverside Family Paradise!

This has been our family home for 30 years and we recently renovated. We're excited to share it with guests now who can hopefully make as many great memories as we have! We have 200 ft of San Bernard river frontage with a dock, plus plenty of outdoor activities to keep the whole family entertained. There's a separate guest house with an en-suite bathroom, and the property is just a few minutes away from Hanson Park and its public boat slip. We have everything you need for your family trip!

Palacios Bayshore House & Camp

Welcome to Palacios! Enjoy fishing, sight seeing, bird watching, boating or just sitting on the deck catching the breeze! The house if fully equipped with everything you need from cooking to bathing & laundry. The upstairs is a complete 2 bedroom 2 bath house and the downstairs is known as "The Camp" with one bedroom (3 twin beds) & one bathroom. Come to the Bay and stay awhile! May 2023 dock lights unavailable. July 2024 Dock was damaged from the hurricane. Pet Fee $195. 2 Kayaks.

Lone Oak River Retreat

Beautiful Waterfront River House on The San Bernard River. Excellent Fishing, Swimming, Kayaking or Boating all from your private dock! Relax and take in the amazing views. At night enjoy smores around the fire pit and fish under the green lights. Have your own boat? The boat slip is across the river from The Lone Oak. 20 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes south of Houston. Kayaks, Games, Fishing Poles and Crabtraps are FREE for our guest to use during their stay. THERE IS NO WIFI
