Stylish Living in a Medieval Cottage

Head out on Angles Way and follow the Waveney river valley for an idyllic countryside stroll or take a trip to the beautiful Suffolk coast, then light the fire and curl up under the beams. Featured in a host of magazines, this bucolic abode combines period features and chic, contemporary design. Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Situated close to the coast, and directly on the Norfolk Broads, Wroxham 8 mins, Norwich 25 mins, the property is ideally situated for great walks, cycling and day boating. Willow Place is next to Beech Place (sleeps 4) and Acorn Place (sleeps 6) each with private patio, garden and parking.

A stunning Coastguard's Cottage nestled in the heart of beautiful Winterton-on-Sea, Captain's Nook has 3 bedrooms and accommodates up to 6 guests and 2 dogs in comfort. The beach is a 5 minute stroll and the pub and all local amenities can be found just a few minutes from the cottage. Captain's Nook has a cosy yet spacious living/dining room with woodburner and a well equipped kitchen and family bathroom. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms and a bunk room. West Cottage is on a quiet village street in Lessingham, less than two miles from Norfolk's coast and five miles from the Broads. With off-street parking, a large garden, and views from both bedrooms to Happisburgh lighthouse, it's an idyllic spot for a tranquil holiday. Downstairs, a cosy sitting room with fireplace and dining area leads to a well-equipped kitchen, beyond which is a bathroom with over-bath shower. Upstairs, the large master bedroom has a king-sized bed, the smaller a 4ft bed.

Immaculate cottage - Norwich/Broads - sleeps 4

An immaculately presented two bedroom semi-detached cottage with a large private garden and off-street parking. A shop and a great Indian restaurant within 1/2 mile walk, and a great pub about 1 mile away, however you really do need a car to get anywhere. A quiet location with only a handful of houses nearby. Eight miles from the centre of Norwich, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, 15 miles to the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast. Lots to do, with both city and country life close by.

Cottage set in 10 acres of parkland. Central to the Norfolk Broads , the coast and the city of Norwich is a 15 min drive away . Ideal for a couple (plus young child) or single person just wishing to get away. The cottage has a large living area with a sofa bed which is suitable for children. Marsh Cottage is a rustic and secluded little house overlooking the RSPB marshes bordering the River Yare and is in the perfect location for those wanting to relax and unwind whatever the season.
