Guest review summary: clean, comfortable and cozy! Our place is well equipped for your stay in town. Just a quick mile (3 minutes) to the interstate makes this place close enough to be convenient and far enough to be quiet. Or, instead of hopping on the interstate, just continue on into the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids for business or pleasure. Luxurious 12 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed for exceptional rest. When you're awake, there's a Keurig and high speed internet (100 Mb).

Just minutes away from shopping areas, downtown, and great restaurants. It's just half a block from a local grocery store. Nine minutes from newbo. Your hosts will be available to help you acclimate to the fun experience.

Cozy, spacious cottage with a beautiful sunroom porch where guests can enjoy peace and quite. Free Wi-Fi, conveniently located within minutes of downtown, great restaurants, shopping mall and grocery store is right up the road! Basement has a comfortable area for guests to unwind and watch a movie. There is plenty of sleeping space, 3 beds and 2 futons, 1.5 baths, large dining room table with plenty of space. The character within this home is absolutely gorgeous. You wont be disappointed!

Palisades Inn East: Charming Lower-Level Apartment

This beautiful lower-level private apartment is the perfect place to stay while enjoying a visit to historic Mount Vernon. This spacious one bedroom rental includes space for 5 guests, two queen beds and a memory foam twin roll-away bed. Relax and enjoy the comfortable living room, or cook your favorite meal in the full kitchen. To top it all off breakfast items will be provided to start your day off on the right foot before you set out to explore Cornell's Campus or Historic Uptown.

Cozy Cottage

Our place is close to everything! A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. There is a fire pit and wood for a nice relaxing night, if you choose to stay in. Check out my other listing next door. 3 bed 2 bath if you need more space.

Ausadie Building is a registered Local & National Historic property, located in the Medical & Downtown District. Only a few minutes walk to many entertainment venues, museums, galleries, four live theaters, Coe College and many churches and restaurants. The building has been beautifully restored and offers a courtyard with a pool, flower gardens and a peaceful Koi pond. Laundry and a fully equipped gym are also included. This is a quiet apartment with all new furnishings located on the middle floor with one flights of stairs. It is located within walking distance of Uptown Marion historic district and is a few blocks from HWY 100. A few blocks from your apartment are great boutiques, pubs and sports bars. The Marion Square across from the library is a great place for live entertainment on Thursday nights. Newbo District in Cedar Rapids is just a 17 min, Cedar Rapids Medquarter is a 15 min.
