Our elegant, supremely comfortable, and private guesthouse is surrounded by a wonderful garden and 350 acres of woodland in the quiet of rural Vermont. We are 30 minutes from Brattleboro to the east, with its many shops and restaurants, and 12 minutes from the small town of Wilmington to our west, with some restaurants, shops, and a supermarket However, we always recommend bringing groceries, etc., for your first night and next morning. Carriage Barn - Marlboro

Our place is within easy reach of Mt Snow, Carinthia, Marlboro Music Festival, and the super sweet town of Brattleboro. The 2-level apartment is entirely private and self-contained. Bonus offerings include an abundance of fresh country air and proximity to miles of woods trails. It's ideal for couples, solo travelers, and it's pet-friendly too. A short walk through the woods brings you to a spring-fed lake that is quiet and pristine. Winter, spring, summer, fall. Each season has its own magic.

Beautiful Timber Frame Retreat

This cabin retreat is situated on a natural clearing in the beautiful Green Mt. Forrest. Surrounded by a dense grove of spruce trees gives you complete privacy. It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

Monadnock Sunrise Forest Hideaway

Enjoy a converted camper as your private getaway in Southern VT. Less than 10 min to downtown Brattleboro, yet nestled in the woods for a quiet retreat. Full galley kitchen and living/lounge area. Wood stove for primary heating (electric backup for not so cold days). Outdoor spaces include a fire pit, deck, pool table, hot outdoor shower, outhouse (composting toilet), and forest for galavanting. The place is a perfect fit for two adults (queen bed) and one kid (63" long fold down couch).

The General Store, is the oldest continually run general store in Vt. The Next Stage, Yellow Barn, Sandglass Theater, these places provide an amazing collection of visual, musical, spoken word and world renowned art and artist to experience. These cultural event locations are but a mile away for the Cottage I hope you choose for your stay.

Beautiful completely furnished 1 bedroom apartment with a private driveway and deck. Less than a half hour from skiing and 5 min away from snowmobile trails. It is located along the west river where every summer you can go tubing, swimming, or kayaking. Across the river is a bike/walking path that leads right to the Marina restaurant on Putney Rd in Brattleboro. Bakery/café, Art Gallery and Retreat Farm all close by A gorgeous view of the river and mountain across the street .

Located on a gorgeous south-facing hillside in Marlboro, VT, Shakespeare's Folly Side Farm is a light, airy, quiet apartment with stunning views, beautiful gardens, and walking paths. We have friendly a dog, vegetable and flower gardens and a small orchard, with raspberries and blueberries. Free picking in the summer. A magical and inspiring place of rolling lawns and 40 mile views yet so close to the many rich cultural and recreational options in southeast Vermont.

This spacious studio apartment is located in the former Swedish Congregational Church in historic Swedeville, a secluded hilly neighborhood built by Swedish immigrants in the 1800's. For years it housed Rick and Liza’s stained glass studio, which they have now lovingly and creatively transformed into a residence. The rental is minutes from the interstate and one mile from downtown Brattleboro, but the neighborhood has a rural and somewhat European flavor to it.

This is an open, light-filled one-Bdm apartment on the lower level of our hillside home, surrounded by forests, with stunning views. Your space is 719 sf + access to laundry. We are fully vaccinated, and ask the same of guests. If you think you may have Covid please tell us. We welcome all kinds of people, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, etc. We may ask questions before accepting people who don’t have many prior reviews. We don't take pets, sorry.

We love our home on a dead end dirt road, quiet and private, yet close to all you need and want when you think of VT. Ski (Mt. Snow or Stratton), hike, swim, enjoy local fare at great restaurants or shop the Brattleboro Farmer's Market or food coop. Enjoy a swim at the covered bridge in Dummerston or at the convergence of the Rock and the West Rivers. Or drive up Newfane Hill to Kinney Pond.
