Climate controlled! What is a Yurt? Yurts originated in Mongolia. The Mongolian people were nomadic, and they took their homes (yurts) with them as they tended to, and traveled, with their livestock. Today yurts are built on a platform & consist of two thick layers of canvas with a layer of insulation in between, and most notably a domed skylight at their center. 5 mins to Alpine, 30 mins to Fort Davis, Marfa, and Marathon. Big Bend Park, Terlingua, & Lajitas are roughly 100 miles away.

Located at the western edge of Marfa, this cozy, unique adobe offers a true Marfa experience, and the best isolation and comfort for you. The house is air conditioned and heated, has wifi and a smart TV. There is one bedroom downstairs with a comfy queen sized bed and one loft bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and fun views. Located on the southwest end of town, it offers quieter surroundings while still being in close proximity to Marfa favorites. Marfa Container: JUDY

Philadelphia Street Containers is a boutique-style hotel container experience. There are five private spaces within the complex, all ranging in different sizes and designed to perfection. Rent the entire hotel or rent each space individually. “Judy” is a 200sf private space with a walk-in shower, queen-size bed, desk, and fun art throughout. Outdoor spaces, including the cowboy pool, are shared with guests renting the four other units.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. The Water Stop, Alta Marfa Winery, Bordo, Filthmart, Whitebox and Convenience West BBQ are a few places that are a very short walk away. Enjoy plenty of space for your family or friends, and don't worry too much about packing because you'll have a washer and dryer during your stay! This place has everything you need while in West Texas.
