Built in 1900, this historic jewel faces Main St. and is 1/2 mile from unique shops, diners, and landmarks in a tiny, Hallmark-type town (pop. of 300). Brenham is 7 miles away. Once known as the “Healing House” owned by artist Kiki Newmann, this is the perfect romantic spot to unwind, celebrate special moments, explore nearby wineries, and create cherished memories.

Custom built tiny house perfect for romantic getaways, out of town relatives visiting family, and vacations! The house is located right off Highway 36, and is only 25 miles from College Station, 10 miles from Lake Somerville, 35 miles from Round Top and close to several local wineries. Plenty of room to park your boat after a day of fishing or water sports at Lake Somerville. This is a Tiny House but we remain Dog Friendly. We have a $50 per Dog fee per stay.

Our most secluded cottage pays homage to George and Barbara Bush and the contributions and impacts they made in their lifetimes. This light and airy cottage is reminiscent of their Walker Point estate in Kennebunkport, Maine. The Poppy and Bar has a queen-sized bed in each of it’s two bedrooms, as well as in the loft. There are two full bathrooms with a soaking tub in one and shower in the other, This unit includes a full-sized washer and dryer.
