Very polite staff and very accommodating to our needs. The attic room was exactly as described and did include air conditioning, which is a rarity in Switzerland. Breakfast area was well organized and food was high quality. We had an early departure before opening and the staff kindly offered to prepare us a breakfast to-go. Overall, we were very happy with this choice as a base while we explored Lucerne. Felt very safe walking the nearby streets at night, and had easy access to a local brew pub with an outdoor patio for drinks or a meal (we only tried the former). Great value, and highly recommend!

Maria's bed and breakfast is a 300 year old house in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from the center of Lucerne. The bus ride from the train station is 10-15 minutes long and the bus runs every 10 minutes. Maria, the host, was very friendly and helpful, and served a wonderful breakfast every morning. This room is on the third floor of this three-story house. It involves several staircases to get up there. The space was exactly as described, but be aware it is very small for more than two people. It consists of a bathroom with shower; an anteroom filled almost entirely by a queen bed; and a bedroom with two twin beds pushed together. The bedroom had a closet and a door that could be closed; the anteroom has only a small shelf and a curtain instead of a door. Two people will be fine here, but it was very tight for a family of four. There was not room to place more than one small suitcase in the anteroom, and we were tripping over each other. Still, a good value for the price!

We stayed at The Bed and Breakfast on our family vacation. The room was comfortable and fit 4 perfectly. There were plenty of beautiful bathrooms and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The lady who checked us in was very sweet and even helped us so that we didn’t have to pay overnight parking - we just had to change the time on our parking timer once. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Bed and Breakfast!

Thomas ist ein super Gastgeber. Er bemüht sich sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist der Hit, da findet man alles was das Herz begehrt. Einziger Nachteil in unserem Zimmer war die Ringhörigkeit. Aber wir hatten ein günstiges älteres Zimmer gebucht. Für zwei Nächte voll in Ordnung. Parkplatz haben wir bei der Titlisbahn benutzt, von Freitag Abend bis Sonntag inkl. gratis Strom für unser Elektroauto für nur 15.-

Comfortable beds, easy to get downtown, friendly and helpful hostess, option for breakfast worked great for us

This place was spectacular. A real BNB experience, which my mother and I really enjoyed. Maria describes the place accurately… shared common spaces like bathroom and small kitchen. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and clean! And only a small number of rooms, everyone polite and respectful. She was so kind and communicative and a wonderful host, providing a delicious breakfast every morning at the hour of our choosing. Transportation to and from is very easy, and the walk into town along the lake is lovely, for more active/mobile travelers. I highly recommend!

La maison de Daniel et Suzanne est absolument superbe avec une vue incroyable sur le lac, une architecture magnifique et une décoration d’intérieur de toute beauté . Le petit déjeuner proposé par Suzanne - notamment son Bircher Suzanne - est excellent.

This Bed and Breakfast was the best! Has such a charming and friendly atmosphere. Even with sharing the building with other guest restrooms were plenty. The rooms were great. Beds were cozy. The best part was the breakfast! The hosts went above and beyond to have a variety of delicious options; breads, meats, fruit, yogurt, grains, and the absolute best jam! We enjoyed our time very much! Highly recommend

villaSteiner is the most lovely place with super nice hosts. everything went smooth, everything was ready, our room was adorable, the surrounding - a dream! the house is full of art, makes even the bathroom unique. the breakfast was delicious, with a lot of homemade and exclusive food. we were informed well about the things you can do and where you can eat best.

예정된시간보다 일찍 도착했지만 모두 웃으며 맞이해주어 기분이 좋았어요 방은 사진과 똑같으며 그보다 더 안락했어요 하루관광을 마치고 돌아와 조용히 온전한 나만의 시간을 가질수있어 매우 좋았으며 바로앞 버스정류장이 있어 매우 편리하고 루체른역까지 걸어서 이동해도 가는길이 매우 아름다워 집이 있을때를 제외하곤 걸어다녔어요 :) 덕분에 루체른을 행복하게 여행할수있었어요 감사합니다 :)

The hosting: I was hosted by Danial's friends; Monica and her husband. Not gonna lie they were the best hosts I've ever met in all my travels among Europe. Very helpful and friendly and we spent lots of time chatting and learning about Swiss culture and regionover the delicious breakfast they were offering with a warm wholehearted way. The location: great for relaxing and nature observation, quiet and peaceful. The stay: very clean and tidy and they provide anything you would need. I can't recommend it enough!

Wunderbarer Ort mit herrlicher Aussicht. Sehr ruhig um vom Alltag abzuschalten. Gute Möglichkeiten, etwas zu unternehmen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die uns mit einem herrlichen Frühstück verwöhnt haben! Sehr empfehlenswert!!

We had an excellent stay at Franziska’s. The entire family is incredibly welcoming. The room is modern and clean. Breakfast at the bakery was delicious! Would recommend to anyone staying in the Lucerne area.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay at Nik’s place in Lucerne, Switzerland. Nik and his mother were incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming throughout our visit. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel like part of their family, which made our trip even more special. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and it was the perfect base for exploring Lucerne. We’re so grateful for their kindness and would love to stay with them again!

Wir haben einen Mitarbeiter für eine Woche hier übernachten lassen, da wir in der Nähe ein Projekt hatten. Erika ist sehr freundlich. Leider gibt es einen Umbau und daher ist es nicht mehr privat. Die Info wurde aber von Anfang an kommuniziert, daher keinen Stern Abzug. Wäre aber toll, wenn das nicht nur auf dem Gastgeberprofil stehen würde sondern auch beim Inserat vom Zimmer. Ansonsten war alles wie beschrieben und unser Mitarbeiter war sehr zufrieden.

Great location nearby luzern and Rigi. Amazing spot next to the waterfront. Simone was the perfect host and so was her husband. A place i would definitely recommend to friends and family and will come back to. 🧡🙌🏻 grateful!

Pokud budete mít cestu do Isenthalu, určitě se zde ubytujte. U paní Cornelie se budete cítit jako doma. Lze se na všem domluvit, paní Vám vyjde maximálně vstříc. V její skromné, ale skvělé kuchyni naleznete regionální pokrmy a mnoho dalšího. Paní Cornelie je rozený hostitel. Cítíte se u ní chtění a opečovávaní. Angličtinu zvládá skvěle, nebyl problém s vykomunikováním ničeho. Ubytování je navíc v horách, daleko od lidí, pokud tedy hledáte klid pro duši, tohle je to místo! V okolí je celá řada horských tras, ovšem schůdných v létě. Na jaře kolem Velikonoc je většina pod sněhem. I tak je tam ale nádherně! Na místo se dostanete samoobslužnou lanovkou, která jezdí každou půl hodinu. Určitě si pohlídejte časy, abyste ji stihli.
