Booiskraal Farm Stay

Booiskraal Farm Stay Accommodation is located just 75km North of Beaufort West on a detour gravel road from Cape Town and 45km West from N1(3 Sisters) on a detour gravel road from Johannesburg. We offer farm style accommodation in an 8 sleeper self catering unit. This is a fully functional Karoo sheep farm with seasonal shearing and lambing. There is no cell phone reception but Wifi is available. Explore our scenic views and fun activities. Come enjoy an unforgettable Karoo farm experience.

Whistling Bridge Cottage

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape with stunning views and beautiful Karoo landscapes. The cottage is situated in a peaceful oasis on a working farm with scenic walks or bike rides through luscious lucern lands; you may even see a kudu! We offer comfortable, luxurious, clean accommodation, warm, friendly and welcoming service. Although the cottage is self catering, the Whistling Bridge Cafe is open from 7am to 4pm and offers delicious breakfast and lunch menu options.

Kooperasie Stories

Step back in time when you stay at this unique and historic place. The building is estimated to be approximately 100 years old. It functioned as the very first shop in town many years ago and was later acquired by the current Farmers Cooperative and used for storage for many years. It fell into disrepair at one stage and was then fixed up for accommodation purposes and rebuilt back to its former glory. It is situated close to restaurants, Art Gallery and other amenities.

Fraserburg place of tranquility

This lovely Karoo cottage is situated in the small Karoo town, Fraserburg, a typical small Karoo town with lots of character and beautiful people. It's an escape from the busy everyday life to a place of raw beauty and open spaces as far as the eye can see. The closest town is 100km away assuring that you have the most spectacular views of sunset and star gazing at night. There is 250 million year old dino-fossil footprints just outside the town.

The Pioneer Cottage @ Zeekoegat Country House

The Pioneer Cottage is one of three antique shearer cottages situated on a working merino farm. This stone cottage offers sleeping space for a family of 4. It has a traditional "out-house" a few metres from the cottage with views and privacy that is quant and utterly charming. The asbosskerm under the Mesquite tree is perfect for an al-frasco dinner or braai. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at The Yard Farmtable.

Duck 'n Dive Farm Accommodation

There’s beauty in the stark landscape of Wolwas Farm, a sheep and lucern farm in the Northern Cape near Loxton.
