A wonderful stay. Group of 5 adults and 4 children plus a small baby. Plenty of space for everyone. Very well equipped and clean. Good location, short walk to the town centre and lots of lovely places to eats and nice shops. Host was really helpful and responsive before and during our stay. Highly recommend this place.

The cottage was perfect. It was homely, beautifully thought out and furnished with lots of little furnishing to make it really cosy and welcoming. We loved the outside spaces too- the hot tub was amazing and the BBQ area too. It certainly gave us all we needed for a fabulous stay. We’ll definitely be back.

I would strongly recommend this home stay. It had everything we were looking for in a day trip with our family and kids. There was self-check-in and check-out, and the house was fully equipped with everything we could imagine in a country house. We felt like we experienced the English countryside during our stay. The pictures don’t do justice. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and the home itself was top-notch, especially the decor. Barry did an amazing job with the interiors. Barry was great at communication, and the detailed descriptions were really helpful! We would like to thank Barry for keeping the house the way it should.

Nothing but good things to say about my stay. The property was actually bigger in real life than the pictures.

This is an ideal place to stay for families and small groups to get together. In peaceful location and private grounds. The lodges are very clean and have everything you need for a weekend or week away from home. Would definitely use again and will recommend highly.

Had a very relaxing and peaceful 2 night stay at high lodge. Smooth check in, lovely welcome pack, well equipped lodge with beautiful views meant we could unwind as soon as we arrived. Hot tub was ready for use straight away. Mariella and Nigel were perfect hosts. Enjoyed the walks from the doorstep and the log burner made for some cosy nights. Would recommend.

We had a perfect and Peaceful getaway was perfect for friends as there was plenty of homely spots and a lovely kitchen. the hosts were so helpful and very responsive. the property was clean and well equipped. We had a lovely weekend here. The instructions for finding and accessing the property were clear and it was well equipped and very clean when we arrived, definitely better than some places we’ve been before. The setting is really lovely and we enjoyed looking over the countryside in the mornings. The only minor issue was that the internet was a bit patchy but as we didn’t really need it, it wasn’t a big deal for us.
