Our visit to the jungle was totally amazing in every way! Juan Carlos was such a great host and guide. He really wanted to show us everything he could! I felt like a young person (I'm 65) as I climbed trees - sorta, camped in the jungle, swam with the dolphins - and there could have been alligators and such! Just a totally incredible experience. And I felt so well taken care of. Mrs. Ana fixed the most delicious meals - more than I could eat. We were served, and cleaned up after. Roy seemed to be able to do anything - even building a railing for a log bridge while we were taking pictures on down the trail. Juan did a great job, also, driving the boat, with some help from Roy when it was dark. All of the guys were constantly looking for animals, birds, and flowers to make sure we could see them. And, when I was a little overwhelmed with the heat while walking uphill in the jungle, Juan fanned me with a palm leaf! I felt like a princess. I hope everyone gets a chance for such an adventu

We loved our stay at the Botanical Gardens! It was a unique experience to be immersed in nature, yet still close to town. Waking up to the sight of little monkeys, birds, and other rescued animals was truly special. The gardens are filled with a variety of beautiful plants, flowers, and trees — a true paradise for nature lovers. Everything was just as described, and Denisse was a great host, offering helpful local recommendations and keeping communication smooth throughout. Just a small note for future guests: the accommodation has quite open acoustics, so sounds from the building and nearby rooms carry a bit. Also, access can be tricky during heavy rain, as mototaxis may struggle with the muddy path — something to keep in mind when planning your transport. That said, these were minor aspects of an otherwise wonderful and memorable stay!

Y también es una gran gratitud a Braulio por organizar un barco personal y un apoyo cálido. Y especial gracias a Rafael por las divinas giras de Selva. Rafael sabe todo sobre los mundos plantas y animales de Selva y con gran amor conduce todas las excursiones muy emocionantes e informativos. Kristina's place is a little piece of tranquility in the middle of the jungle. It is about 1h from iquitos by boat so you avoid the noises and crowds of the city but dont take the boat too late at the sun sets down pretty early and it gets dark quickly. It is an absolutely peaceful and beautiful place. A lot of space and with all commodities. Fedencio, the caretaker, is very nice! We planned a guided day tour via Katrina and it was absolutely worth it ! We recommend it.
