Watermill Nook is set on the grounds of our charming former working Listed Watermill and is a romantic, cosy cabin ideal for guests who want to relax and unwind. The beautiful, fairy lit, private woodland garden set high above the River Mar is a special place in which to immerse yourself in nature, birdsong and the blissful sounds of the babbling river. As dusk falls, cosy up around the firepit or light the cabin wood burner, planning your next adventure exploring fabulous Loch Lomond.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. I expect to be at the lodge to meet you when you arrive. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. With the abundance of wildlife (jumping fish, sunbathing seals & daily visits of a local resident goose) you won't find it dull. Great base to explore Scotland, 45 minute drive from Glasgow Airport, located within the "Loch Lomond and The Trossachs" National Park in Argyll & Bute.

Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

Seal Cabin - A wee piece of Scottish Luxury

A Victorian Cabin perched on the banks of Loch Goil. Enjoy a picturesque stay over looking the breath taking Scottish Highlands. The Cabin consists of a walk in wet room with toilet and a very well equipped kitchen. Within the kitchen you will find a fridge, stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and crockery. The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

A stunning former lighthouse keeper’s cottage, Lighthouse Point has the most amazing views of the lighthouse and dramatic sea views down the Clyde approach, past Bute, towards Arran. Situated at Toward Point in Argyll, this beautiful cottage offers a luxurious stay with views to die for. If you can be tempted away from gazing out of the south facing sunroom, watching the sea, yachts and other marine traffic, it is less than two minutes’ walk to the water.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy this gorgeous setting either from the warmth and comfort of the open plan lounge or from your own private deck with extraordinary views over Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.

Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. We have recently changed the cabin to a self catering accommodation. It now compromises of a kitchen and separate seating area, fully glazed to enjoy the loch what ever her moods! New pictures will follow.
