Our beautiful and secluded countryside retreat at the start of the Brecon Beacons is perfect for those looking to escape from the city for few days, or use as a base to hike the Brecon Beacons. The loft apartment has fantastic views of Skirrid and the Black Mountains, alongside it's modern and comfortable interior, with plentiful hiking and countryside exploration on your doorstep. Feel at peace hearing just the birds and farm animals as you sip your morning coffee, then head out and explore!

Conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to both the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon canal and the Abergavenny-Brynmawr cycle track and is a great base for hill walking in the Black Mountains and the local Abergavenny 3 peaks. Walk into the market town which offers an array of top restaurants, pubs and cafes.

You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

Please note that both bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs– so everyone in your group needs to be able to negotiate the short, straight staircase in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Inside you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. *Gavenny Cottage no longer has a hot tub.
