This suite consists of three interconnecting bedrooms, kitchenette and bathroom situated in a scenic countryside setting. Large garden with lots of outdoor seating and plenty of space for kids to play football, jump on the trampoline etc. No matter what season you visit Spruce lodge it has something great to offer, be it the garden in full bloom during Summer, the gorgeous Autumnal colours of Autumn, the warm romantic Winter evenings by the open fire or the awakening of nature in Spring with the dawn chorus, you won't be disappointed.

This is a unique, cosy, self contained, elevated POD set in a private garden, close to the water, overlooking Kinsale Harbour and town, in the jewel of Kinsale - Summercove. You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. Katie’s Fastnet Cabin The stunning seascape changes every day in front of the nautical themed Fastnet Cabin. Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

The renowned gourmet town of Kinsale is less than ten minutes by car and the airport is just a 30 minutes drive. The local area is a mecca for surfers, swimmers, cyclists and those who just want to go for long peaceful walks on one of the many local beaches. The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

Kayak lessons and activities take place across the road . Whale watching trips are available from Courtmacsherry pier.
