Located within eyesight and walking distance of the public beach, the Islesboro Ferry terminal, McLaughlin’s restaurant, and the Beach Store. Property is located on US route 1- just 6 miles north of Camden (8 minute drive), and less than 15 minutes south of Belfast. This year-round cottage provides a lovely retreat for resting while exploring all the Midcoast has to offer.

This coastal town is truly a gem, but if you’d like to explore further afield, it’s also an excellent base for day trips to Camden (30 minutes) or Acadia National Park (1.25 hours.) Feel the magic in this quiet secluded hillside retreat. Awaken your senses with the smell of the salt air, pines and an occasional whiff of coffee beans roasting all while watching the ferry go back and forth to Ilesboro. Early risers will enjoy spectacular sunrises. Experience nature without being too far off the beaten path. A private half mile walk down the driveway will end at brick sidewalks leading you to Lincolnville Beach, one of Maine's stretches of sandy shoreline.

Beachfront Guest Cottage - Year-round Hot Tub!

Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access, and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

Waterfront Cottage

The Waterfront Cottage sits directly on the shores of Snow Pond, 15 minutes from Colby College and downtown Waterville and 1/2 mile from the Snow Pond Center for the Arts. Enjoy the BEST sunset views from the private dock and listen to the waves and loons at night. The private front deck is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail after a day of swimming and kayaking from the sandy beach. You also have a private outdoor hot soaking tub and water view barrel sauna. Paradise!

Cook out on the grill, lounge on the deck or dock while taking in the wildlife on a beautiful tidal river. Watch nesting Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons fishing! There is plenty of sight-seeing in this picturesque area. Rockland is just 10-minutes away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, lighthouses and festivals.

Historic School House now with High Speed Internet

Historic schoolhouse of Brooklin converted into the perfect one bedroom getaway. Located across the street from the Brooklin Rockbound Capel with a quick 20-minute drive to Blue Hill. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor or Bangor are all with in an hour away. The original post and beam construction, with a sleeping loft, give the interior a rustic vibe offset by the playful color palette and butterfly wallpaper make it more botanical and lighthearted.

Owls Head Oceanview Cottage Cedar Hot Tub/Sauna

This ocean view cottage on the side of Mt Battie has a master suite with a private bathroom and a wood burning fireplace, a living room with a queen sofa bed and another wood burning fireplace, sauna, a large 6 ft wide Maine Cedar hot tub off the back deck. Hiking trails to Mt Battie summit and the rest of Camden Hills State park are accessible from our parking lot.

This peaceful cottage is nestled in a small village situated halfway between Belfast and Bangor along the Penobscot River. You’ll find yourself just far enough “off the beaten path” while still in a quaint neighborhood with lots of history. An easy starting point when planning a trip to Midcoast or Downeast Maine, and to the lakes and mountains in the north and west.
