Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Situated in a quiet nook just outside the ancient market town of Lanark (a Royal Burgh since 1140) you benefit from the lovely restaurants and shops on Lanark High Street and the UNESCO World Heritage site of New Lanark just 2 miles away. For a city experience Edinburgh and Glasgow are less than an hour away with excellent transport links. Who says you can't have it all?!

Southburn Bothies

Located in the heart of Lanarkshire, right on the Clyde Valley, our luxury glamping pod is situated on our working family farm. With all the home comforts you need, surrounded by stunning views of the farm, it is the ideal place to escape for a peaceful weekend away. Our Glamping Pod sleeps 2 adults and 1 child, with a double bed and fold down sofa bed. All bed linen and towels are provided. Fire Pit bundle of logs, kindling and firelighters available. Please request before arrival.

Woodland Lodge with hot tub available for couples

Situated in a Georgian Country House estate, Orchard Lodge is a south facing self-contained property within a rural, peaceful, secluded location overlooking the river Avon with Avon valley views to be enjoyed from an extensive sun deck/terrace with hot tub. The lodge is nestled within native woodland, pleasant walks can be enjoyed within the 22 acre estate or why not try one of the trails around Glassford. Private fishing available on the river Avon (brown trout and grayling).

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

LynnAllan Cottage is a gorgeous rural getaway with stunning open views. Comprising a comfortable living room with a working open fireplace and sofa bed for extra guests, a modern fitted kitchen with all mod cons including a breakfast bar, two bedrooms 1 double & 1 king-size, with good storage space. A contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath. The cottage is fully equipped for up to 6 people and offers a homely, stylish space for your enjoyment and relaxation.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Charming wooden lodge situated in a peaceful location on a working family farm above the Clyde Valley in South Lanarkshire. Lovely rural location but still less than half an hour to Glasgow and under an hour to Edinburgh. Relax in the luxury private hot tub surrounded by beautiful views, or explore the local area, including lots of family attractions. Sleeps 6, ideal for a maximum of 4 adults, as one of the bedrooms is a bunk room.

One bedroom Guest Suite in Strathaven

About us,   A warm welcome awaits you at our home in the centre of Strathaven overlooking the Hastie Park. We offer a private, one bedroom Guest Suite with its own access. The suite consists of a double bedroom, spacious living area and shower room which is suitable for single or double use. You will also have access to the adjoining dining room which has a fridge, toaster and microwave oven.
