Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

New Four Season Cabin on Nelson Lake Hayward, WI

Welcome to Blue Haven Hideaway! Make memories with family and friends at this peaceful four bedroom, two bath, four season cabin located on 3,300 acre Nelson Lake, just 6 miles from downtown Hayward. Relax on our large deck or by a peaceful evening campfire. Enjoy easy access to ATV, snowmobile and mountain biking trails as well as thousands of acres of public hunting land or tie up your boat to our dock. We open our calendar 6 months out but inquire if you are looking for something further out.

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Amy’s Cozy Lakeside Cottage

Cabin on Pine Cone Pond

Welcome to our Cabin, your year-round Northwoods retreat! Relax with the whole family in this newly built cabin that is nestled within a peaceful & private wooded community; a tranquil pond surrounded by 28 acres of woodlands. Minutes from Hayward, with convenient access to fishing, ski trails, & biking, hiking, ATV, & snowmobiling trails. Designed with guest comfort in mind, the cabin features a perfect blend of boho-chic furnishings creating a tranquil, cozy & natural yet stylish retreat.

Haakon House

Relax with family and friends at a Northwoods retreat. The cabin is a newer build at the end of a quiet road near the start line for the Prince Haakon cross country ski race. It can accommodate large groups with as many as 12 in the cabin on beds and pull out furniture (plus a bunkhouse). Connect to CAMBA mountain bike and American Birkebeiner Nordic ski trails from the front door, through private trails and the Mosquito Brook trailhead. Enjoy the screen porch and comfortable accommodations!

The Sunset Cabin

1950’s resort cabin brought back to life! The beautiful screened in porch looks to the west for some of the most gorgeous sunsets you’ll see anywhere. All is new and was completely remodeled in 2024. One bedroom has queen bed and the other has a full bed with a twin bed bunk. You’ll have your own dock for fishing, plus access to the shared lake toys:kayaks, floaties, fishing rods and tackle, row boats and a canoe. You’ll also have shared access to the sandy swimming beach and swimming raft.

The Brook Cottage

The Brook Cottage is nestled back in the woods alongside Mosquito Brook, approximately 5 miles from downtown Hayward. You will find yourself a relaxing and peaceful retreat where you can unplug and cast a line in the water. A few big brook trout have been caught for dinner! This cottage was originally built for Deep Wood Resort in Cable, WI in the 1940's and moved to it's new location in the 1980's. Through out the years many have enjoyed hanging their hat at this cozy Northwoods getaway.

Sylvan Chalet, Modern, Lakefront, Close to Trails

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. We have a NEMA 15-40R outlet for level 2 EV charging. You bring chord and adapter

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. At 700sq ft, it's intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids.
