Dreamy Lake Front Summer Cottage in Irish Hills

As a child, our family bought a cottage in the Irish Hills - I was blessed with summers spent swimming, fishing, campfires and filling my childhood with memories I still cherish. We bought this cottage to keep those memories alive in a time when it seems easy to forget how simple pure joy can be. Now, we are pleased to share that experience with you. Evans Lake is a private all-sports lake with a sandy bottom-making it a perfect place to unwind from your routine. Welcome to The Lake Affect.

Cabin w/ all sports lake access

Peaceful cabin in the Irish Hills on South Meadow Lake with access to 4 other lakes (Kelly-Killarney-Allen & Wolf). Minutes from Michigan International Speedway. Newer smoker/grill ready to be used for barbecue on expansive deck. Kayaks available for free to use. Smart TVs on each floor. Internet is available but is not always reliable due to our more rural location. Beautiful great lake with lots of fish to catch! Stay At The Gray!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Spend your mornings with a coffee on the large front porch, or catch the sunset with a glass of wine. Just a few short blocks from downtown Tecumseh, you can walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shop, ice cream, shopping, and more! Centrally located to several area hot spots such as Hidden Lake Gardens, Adrian College, and lakes for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Short drive north to Ann Arbor, south to Toledo and anywhere in between!

Sussex House

This 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home is located on a private gravel drive, in a peaceful setting. Wildlife can often be spotted in the large yard or wooded area. The location is minutes from historic Adrian where Adrian College and Siena Heights University are home to, Tecumseh, and near main roads, and only 20 miles from Brooklyn, and 30 miles from Ann Arbor. Many stores, restaurants, lakes, and entertainment options are close by. The Kiwanis biking/walking trail connects right here.

Songbird Cottage

Escape the hustle and bustle. Come relax in our cozy tiny house on our little farmette where we raise a few goats and retail handcrafted patio furniture. Wake up to views of the surrounding fields, take a walk in our garden or enjoy relaxing in our gliders on the porch. Located between Hillsdale and Adrian - only 10 miles for Adrian College, 17 miles from Michigan International Speedway and 22 miles from Hillsdale College. House On Grass Airstrip with Fly-In/Fly-Out Access

Located a few miles from downtown Tecumseh, MI, the house is located on 10 acres of land, including a wooded area with walking trails. It is also part of the Merillat Airport (34G) community, a grass runway (3608 ft). Perfect for fly-in/fly-out guests, or if you just want to sit on the back balcony or by the fire pit and watch planes take off and land. The house is also 25 miles away from Ann Arbor and University of Michigan and 20 miles from Michigan International Speedway.

Glad to see that you will be visiting our cabin! It is a serene and charming step away from the busy world. Information on hiking trails, local events, and eateries in the area are listed in the cabin. A grill is available, and also on the deck is a clawfoot bathtub and outside shower (for the brave at heart!!) There is a shower in the cabin, too. Be sure to be on the lookout for the wildlife in the area!!
