The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Daisy Cottage | Sheephaven Bay, Downings, Donegal

Daisy Cottage is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside Downings. A quaint yet spacious traditional Irish cottage with 3 double bedrooms and additional sofa bed. Surrounded by beautiful grounds and historic outhouses, located 1.5k from Tramore beach which stretches almost 7k (behind St Patrick’s Links, Roasapenna Golf Course). Other nearby attractions include the Boardwalk Resort (1k), the famous Glen Bar & Restaurant (3k), Doe Castle (4k), Ards Friary, Marble Hill & Dunfanaghy (14k).

Cashelmore House is a modern house ideally located in picturesque Ards. Close to many blue flag beaches, Ards Forest Park, Muckish mountain and family friendly activities such as horse riding, surfing and golf. Doe Castle and Glenveagh Castle are a short drive away. Nearby towns of Creeslough and Dunfanaghy offer numberous bars and restaurants. You’ll love Cashelmore House because of the views, the location, and the outdoors space. Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
