A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Lime Tree Cottage is situated on our family farm, close to the steading and surrounded by mature trees. Luxury accommodation for 4, including super fast broadband. Scenic walks from your door with cattle and sheep nearby, an abundance of local wildlife and a variety of woodlands to explore. This is an ideal location to explore East Berwickshire, with Coldingham Bay and St. Abbs Head National Nature Reserve nearby. Edinburgh is one hour away, famous for its Castle and festivals.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The Bothy

Situated in a quiet courtyard in the borders town of Coldstream. Ideal for walkers, golfers, fishing or just visiting the historic Scottish borders. Only 4 miles from Flodden battlefield, Kelso 10 miles Berwick 14 miles, Edinburgh less than an hour away. 2 Local pubs to chose from all within 5 minutes walk. The name Bothy means a refuge for travelers. The price includes airbnb's charges which I can do nothing about, we charge £70 per night the rest is airbnb commission.

The cottage sits in the heart of the historic Hirsel Estate, close to the Hirsel Lake and on the edge of the Hirsel Homestead where you will find a cafe and farmshop, a pottery, glass workshop and artist studio as well as a museum. Way marked walks are available throughout the Estate

Characterful self-contained accommodation offering two bedrooms and two shower rooms in a pretty 17th century cottage. Master bedroom featuring a superking zip-link double bed (can also be a twin) and en-suite shower room. Second bedroom with a king size double bed and private shower room. You will also have your own comfortable lounge with wood burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and laundry facilities.
