Larch Cabin Scotland: hidden gem in wooded valley

Idyllic eco-cabin overlooking tranquil pasture and pretty woodland situated on the historic footpath from Dollar to Rumbling Bridge only metres away from the dramatic beauty of the Devon River. With woodburning stove, fire-pit and private verandah, Larch Cabin offers a rustic retreat with a touch of luxury. Located in the grounds of our smallholding and surrounded by fantastic hikes, cycles and trails, the cabin provides a secret haven only 45 minutes away from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

Dam View - Ivy Lodge

We are situated on our small 100 acre family farm looking out over a nature reserve with miles of walking, bike riding and bird watching straight from your lodge. The lodges are all kitted out for your arrival with fresh beds, towels and toiletries. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay with us. There is a wonderful wood burning stove, that heats the whole tent on those chillier days and evenings. With a BBQ and fire pit outside for toasting those marshmallows.

Ideally located on the Railway walk and cycle route 196 to Glenkinchie Distillery , Carberry, Penicuik and surrounding areas. Super comfortable beds with lovely bed linen, comfy sofa bed, en-suite shower room, fridge, kettle, crockery, table and chairs and covered seating area to enjoy the outdoors no matter the weather. All with BBQ/Fire pit.

A cute wee historic cottage in the Pentland Hills with magnificent views. This home is one of the few properties inside the Pentland Hills regional park. 30 minutes outside of Edinburgh. Harperrig Reservoir is at your door where you can swim and paddle. Endless walks in the Pentlands. Surrounded by farmland. Our Bothies include en-suite, kitchen area with open plan living and double bed. A fully glazed frontal area so you can enjoy the views and sunrise over the open countryside. After a day of exploring sit back and relax in your own private Hottub and star gaze under the night sky.
