Beautiful Lake House near Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Weavers Cottage, Mocktree Barns, nr Ludlow

Weaver's is a cosy dog friendly character cottage with open-plan living space, double bedroom and ensuite shower all on the ground level. One of a five cottage barn conversion adjacent to the host's home set amidst the beautiful Shropshire Hills and border Marches, on the edge of the Downton Castle Estate and Mortimer Forest, with walks and cycling from the doorstep. The central location is an ideal base for exploring the local area, further afield, or simply relaxing in the courtyard gardens.

The Garden House

A beautiful, recently renovated two storey house attached to the host's home. It is secluded, south facing and sunny, with glorious views across water meadows to the river which cuts its way beneath steep woodland and past the best fine dining pub in Herefordshire, The Riverside. The house has its own terraced garden and below, an orchard - great for dogs. We are on the marvellous Mortimer Trail which is a 30 mile walk between the towns of Ludlow and Kington. 45 mins from Hay Festival!

The Barn

In an area of outstanding natural beauty, Oaklands Barn is the perfect place for those seeking a peaceful escape. Enjoying far reaching views over the valley and the Welsh hills, the Barn lies nestled at the head of a gentle valley in the tiny hamlet of Kinton. Visit the historic market towns of Ludlow & Clun and the nearby Welsh Marches which abound in historic sites and castles. The village is a 5 minute walk with shop, petrol station, local butchers, riverside pub & parlour bar (Sun Inn)

Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

Deerfold Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated on a working Organic Farm and far away from the road you'll be up in the trees where the only sound is Birdsong. Off-grid with natural Spring water and modern compost loo.The spacious deck has a table and chairs, rocking loungers and a BBQ and Firepit. Drink in the view from the comfort of a Kingsize bed through the large windows. Buy food from our fields at the little shop on site. Enjoy sunsets and stars and walks in the woods

Nestled in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, on the edge of a working farm, the Stretton Pod is one of three luxury pods (view others on my profile). With plenty of scenic walks from the door, this cosy pod provides the perfect escape to relax and unwind. The accommodation has been individually designed and furnished in a bespoke style, including a hot tub, wet room and cooking facilities. The Orchard Barn at Old Court Farm. Our country hideaway has been lovingly brought to life from its humble beginnings as a Old cider barn. Designed and built here on the farm, this modern conversion brings a luxurious ‘interior feel’ surrounded by never-ending oak beams with views over looking the apple orchards. With 70 acres of near by orchards for you and your pets to ‘roam freely’ it’s a true feeling of the very beautiful English countryside.
