Places close by-Goosepond, Cathedral Caverns, Cavern Cove shooting range, G'ville St. Park, zip-lines. 8x40 covered deck, patio w/firepit, gas & charcoal grills, corn hole, darts, two hot tubs, five kayaks, one canoe w/gear, and a trailer. Dogs welcome (but no fence). Relax & enjoy!

Fernwood Forest

This is a true log cabin in the woods adjoining 9,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest. The home is on a small creek in a valley by Taylor's Ridge with private trails to the top of the mountain. There is a large stone fireplace in the den. Though it is a rustic setting we have great WIFI and streaming 4K HDR TV. We have space and facilities for dog and horse owners. Cloudland Canyon, Jarrod's Place Bike Park, Dalton, GA, and Chattanooga, TN are nearby and great day time destinations.

A stone's throw away from Little River Canyon National Preserve, this peaceful place is as quiet as it gets. Quick access to hiking, climbing, kayaking, swimming and all around adventuring. Staying here makes it convenient to do all of the above or you can kick back, relax and do nothing at all. Don't forget to take a peek at the night sky, with almost no light pollution, the stars shine bright. (located 20 min from the middle of Fort Payne, 40 min from Mentone, 40 min from Gadsden)

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Tammy’s Cozy Cabin is located minutes from Jacksonville and Piedmont, AL. It is close to biking, hiking, and horse trails. Jacksonville State University football, softball, and basketball. There are also wineries, museums, and kayaking. You can sit on the front porch or around the fire-pit and listen to the sounds of nature. It is located on the owners property but is secluded by trees. It had its own drive and self-check in.
