Our cozy space is equipped with all you could need for a short or long stay (including laundry). We are a 5 minute walk to Historic Harrison Ave and restaurants, 1 block from the Mineral Belt Trail, 24 mins to Copper Mountain, 10 to Ski Cooper, 30 to Frisco, 45 to Vail! Beautiful views of Mt. Our cabin is one of a kind. Isolated with easy access, it is located outside Leadville-10,200 feet, between the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges, with stunning views of both. Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2026-P8, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.

Massive and Elbert (Colorado's highest peaks) can't be beat. Three blocks to downtown Leadville. Ride, bike, hike, and ski right outside your door. Gear Down is located in a three unit building.
