La casa, dove un tempo vivevano i mie nonni, è stata restaurata mantenendo il fascino rustico e caldo della campagna; comprende un'ampia cucina, un comodo salotto, due camere matrimoniali, due bagni ed un 'angolo lettura' accanto ad una finestra panoramica. Sono compresi posto auto gratuito e servizio wi-fi.

Peaceful hideaway in a 11th century Tuscan village

Imagine a former medieval tower, once part of a 11th century fortified castle. As you enter, like in most Tuscan country houses, there is a kitchen with a stone sink. A stairway brings to the first floor where there are two bedrooms with their original terracotta floors and wooden beams. They both offer a gorgeus, unobstructed view of Chianti vineyards and hills. And a private access to a terracotta terrace facing the valley. It's hard to imagine a more peaceful scenery.

A Big Dream in a Little Tower.

The Tower was created in the late 1800s by an illustrious Englishman, Sir John Temple Leader, in one of the oldest and most important stone quarries belonging to the Medici family. From the same quarry were extracted many important works such as the columns of the Medici chapels, the steps of the Laurenziana library .. all just 5 km from the historic center of Florence.
