Five miles east is the village of Pecos with the Pecos River for fishing, hiking, and exploring. Sixteen miles north is the legendary city of Santa Fe packed with world-class art and culture

Very rural…This country hideaway is nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, 1 minute from I-25 in the village of Rowe. It sits on a 40 acre private ranch. Santa Fe is 25 minutes away with nearby access to many US Forest areas, the Pecos National Monument, the Village of Pecos, and the Pecos River. The water is chemical free! The large acreage here is also used for tent camping in the summer months near the little lake and RV Sites are scattered with one being beside this house.

A quick drive to Las Vegas can lead you to the famous Plaza Hotel or the newly renovated Castaneda Hotel. Find yourself downtown to indulge in New Mexican food and grab a drink at one of many unique bars in town.

This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. Peaceful Hermitage

(No pets) Choose silence, solitude in our 12'x14' AIR CONDITIONED furnished hut, with a picture window view of Mesa; bed, desk, rocking chair, kitchenette. (1 guest only) and Wi-Fi. Space dedicated for meditation, prayer, writing. Private shower 90 steps away, inside main house. Hiking trail minutes away. Vaccination recommended. (Note: our second retreat space, inside main house, has private bath, kitchen use, library and LR.)

The drive to Santa Fe is easy and peaceful (~35 minutes). The Pecos river swimming hole is accessible by trail from the house along with several miles of hikeable wilderness. This custom adobe towers 50 feet over the Pecos River with breathtaking views of the river, dam, and canyon.
