This all season vacation destination offers hiking, fishing,biking,golfing,hunting,kayaking,camping, etc. or simply enjoy peace & quiet while watching the wildlife (eagles)!

Close to Williamsport and the Little League Museum, less than 40 miles from attractions like Knoebel’s, Ricketts Glen, World’s End, Pine Creek, bike trails. Lots of local farmers’ markets, craft fairs, county fairs, antique shops. Great for couples, solo travelers and business travelers.

La Casita, The 1934 Tiny House

Relax and enjoy the quiet at this tranquil cottage. Built in 1934, tiny La Casita is a private retreat in downtown Laporte. Cozy up to coffee and a book on the porch or wind down after a day in the Endless Mountains. Historic Eagles Mere, the Loyalsock State Forest, trails and swimming at World’s End State Park are minutes away. A family playground sits down the block. Parts of La Casita have been lovingly remodeled in 2024, including its bath. Bedrooms offer 1 queen, 1 double, and 1 day bed.

Although we are located in a private, wooded area, we are only 15 minutes away from Bucknell University and 25 minutes away from the Little League World Series. We're also less than 5 miles from highway 15 and Interstates 80 and 180. Central PA has a charm to it, and we hope you think so too when you visit!
