Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

There is plenty of space inside the cabin. The cabin contains two private rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen bed. In the summer months there is also opportunity to camp, with 4 acres of luscious green space + some woodlands! Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and Traeger grill!

The Natchway Suite at Backwater Suites

Locate one block from the Mississippi River this beautiful two bedroom suite one with a queen bed and one with king bed. Suite comes with full kitchen. We are located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and parks. Relax on our back patio equipped with a gas grill and fire table. For larger groups the Natchway and Hummingbird have an adjoining door and can accommodate 8 guests. All 6 units at Backwater Suites have indoor access to each other.

Upper Unit on N.Second St.

The Stone Home on N 2nd Street is a historic limestone building. We are 1/2 block from the Mississippi River with views of both the river and BlackHawk bridge. Across the street is the local ice cream shop. We are 1 block from main street and easy walking to restaurants/bars and shops. This is the upper level unit. There is a main level unit below this one. Stairs are required to gain access to this unit.

If you are looking for lodging accommodations for a week long or weekend get away, this scenic little gem will not disappoint. This is a great rental for a single, couple, small family or two couples! Ideal for a fishing tournament, boating trips, family vacations, retreats etc. We have hook-ups to charge your boats as well! If you plan to bring your pet, please look under fee’s for that charge.
