The 801 Cottage

Just a short drive to the Colorado Bend State Park! This home can sleep up to 6 guests W/ the fold-down couch. Shop Antiques on the square or visit one of our many nearby wineries! We offer a 2 hr early arrival convenience fee of $35, allowing for check-in at 1:00 PM. Confirmation must be made with the host. Pet friendly ( pets must be crated inside the home when left alone ). $40 pet fee. Please don’t try to sneak a dog in, April the housekeeper will know and a pet fee will be assessed.

Tucked beneath a canopy of trees, this one-bedroom, one-bath cottage is a peaceful escape with all the cozy touches you need to unwind. Backed by a seasonal wet-weather creek and surrounded by nature, it offers the perfect setting for relaxing days and star-filled nights. Enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the private patio or spacious deck under the trees. Enjoy an invigorating soak in our vintage cold-water bathtub. Consider our cottage your "Home Away from Home".

Relax on our Cattle Ranch with Pool & Hot Tub

Unwind on our Central Texas Cattle Ranch or stay here while you are competing at the Rodeo Arena in Hamilton (30 miles away). Take a dip in our pool, relax in the hot tub, and enjoy the peace and quiet while glamping in our RV. Your horse will stay in our spacious horse corral with a small open barn. White tail deer and wild turkeys will come to eat from a feeder near the RV. We provide a dozen farm fresh eggs from our flock. Please note-we are 20 miles from a grocery store.

Historic Cauthen Guest House

Stay at the centrally-located guest house of the historic Cauthen House completed in 1917. The separate guest house was constructed in the mid-eighties but was completely renovated in 2023. It is a two bedroom apartment located on the SECOND FLOOR. Both bedrooms have king size beds and the living room has a queen size fold out couch. Full kitchen for your own homemade meals or If you prefer a dinner out, we are blocks away from many restaurants and a block away from Starbucks.

Sprague Ranch Cabin • Mesquite Fire • Big Views

Quiet little cabin on Sprague Ranch, 28 min from Lampasas, with views that go on for miles. Cook over an open mesquite fire on the swing-grate, fire up the propane grill, then settle in as the sun drops behind the hills. Hike the on-property trails down to the pond, stargaze from the firepit, and fall asleep to nothing but crickets. Starlink WiFi for work trips, cozy bedding for family escapes, and big Texas skies for everyone. Come unplug — the fire's ready when you are.

"Rost Roost"

Want to see the stars? Stargazing isn't all you will do at this tiny home that isn't so tiny! The Roost features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, and a loft. Lometa is a short 5-minute drive for restaurants, gas, and groceries. Our outside space sets us apart! Relax under the oak trees to read or take in the 180-degree views of the countryside from our hilltop. Watch livestock mill about on the horizon as you lounge the day away lazily under the trees.

Indian-Camp Draw

The Indian Camp draw is a peaceful spot nestled in the beautiful pecan trees. Our goal is to provide a place you can call home and love enough to revisit! Enjoy the freshly updated home with your family, friends or co-workers while you visit the surrounding countryside. We have chairs and a swing on your front porch to sit and enjoy the wildlife that come roam through our pecan trees. We are 10 miles from the beautiful Colorado Bend State Park.

Cozy 3 Bedroom Copperas Cove Cottage

This peaceful, relaxing, pet-friendly, cozy 3-bedroom place is only 6.2 miles to Fort Hood. Includes a King sized bed, a queen sized bed, 2 twin beds (1 trundle), and a couch that can pull out into a bed. Accommodates a family of 5-6. Nice couples retreat, or a perfect set up for traveling professionals as well! Space for both indoor and outdoor activities, with a ping pong table and bbq. 2 parks with playgrounds, walking trails close by.

Conveniently located on highway 183, we provide the perfect launching pad for all of your Central Texas adventures. Whether biking, hiking, hunting, visiting wineries or just hanging out with friends, the 183 Roadhouse has what you need. Secure in a gated ranch, the 183 Roadhouse provides a relaxing and peaceful environment for the whole family. Once a BBQ restaurant, now converted to a charming and comfortable location for your stay.
