While staying, you will feel like you are secluded amongst a forrest, yet you'll only be a 5-10 minute drive away from everything in town! The house was built in 2017 with modern finishes. The hottub is always hot and the oversized couches are always comfy. The neighborhood is family/wildlife oriented. Come unwind and relax in the sticks!

Come check out this tranquil getaway located within 10-15 miles of Kirksville, 1000 Hillls State Park, Truman State/ATSU, and hundreds of acres of public hunting/conservation land. This little cabin is a one bedroom, one bath tiny home that is located off the beaten path and is tucked away in the woods. The space comfortably sleeps 4 people (one queen bed and one king bed in the loft). Enjoy the relaxing sounds of nature sitting around the fire pit or screened deck! Living room TV is a smart TV!

Whispering Oaks Getaway Cabin

Relax with the whole family after exploring the vast chunks of public land that Southern Iowa is known for. There are many types of outdoor recreational opportunities including Foraging for Morels, Fishing on Lake Rathbun and the many local creeks, to exploring/bird watching on the vast areas on Sedan Bottoms WMA. Looking to check out some areas in Northern Missouri, then Rebels Cove is just a short drive and has plenty of land to roam! Or just relax at camp and take advantage of our WiFi!

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. This is a guest house on our little farm in the country. Our house is right next door but we will give you all the privacy you want. Your stay will include homemade baked goods made by our family, Cold breakfast foods such as cereal and fruit will be available. There is a beautiful pine grove with a picnic area and a fire pit for your use. There is also a massage chair by the electric fireplace where you can relax those aching muscles.

It doesn't get much closer to the lake than this, 1/2 Mile from the entrance of Honey Creek State Park, home to the largest (and Highest) boat ramp on Rathbun Lake. Bring your boat and water play toys, and don't forget to pack your swim suit. Fully furnished 2 Bedroom, 1 bath home supplied with the essentials you need to sleep, bath, prepare meals for 4 and enjoy the outdoors, with the lake close by!

Relax with the whole family at our cabin on the lake. Bring your swimming things and fishing gear and get ready for a good time! You can feed the fish, grill a delicious meal, relax in front of the tv, or soak up the sun in the water or on the sand. Spending time with friends and family on the lake will be time well spent. We also have 2 kayaks and a small fire pit there you're welcome to use.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Lake Rathbun is 1 mile away. Centerville has everything you need and is only a 5 minute drive. Largest public hunting grounds around Rathbun. Great lake for boating and fishing. Bait Shop and Restaurant 2 blocks away. Perfect location!
