This is a large beautiful second floor suite with a queen size bed that opens onto a huge veranda. The suite has a private entrance, bath and large sitting room. The home is located in historic Hayes Barton, close to downtown Raleigh and Glenwood South district. Hayes Barton is a safe, shady historic neighborhood with cafes, restaurants and breweries within walking distance. This fully-furnished one-bedroom "garage apartment" is attached to our main home, but you will have your own private entrance! You can expect this to be your home-away-from-home with all the practicalities and necessities taken care of. No stairs are required to the ground-floor entrance except for two little ones in front of the door. Popular for shorter stays, but more than suitable for longer stays, with ample storage, a combo W/D, compact D/W, and dedicated HVAC system. Amazing location!

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
