Historic Owl Pine Cabin: creek+town+nature

On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. The spiral staircase leads to our favorite feature, the loft bedroom with picture windows & treetop views!

Conveniently located 3-minutes from the village, it is easy to enjoy the charms of Idyllwild and the beautiful San Jacinto mountains from the Treetop Terrace.

Treetop Hideout · On 2.5 Acres of Private Forest

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
