Hi, We had a great time at storybook cottage. Everything was excellent. Only have one comment. We would have like to use the spa. We attempted twice to turn it on and get it warm up. But we’re unsuccessful. The first day, we turned it on too late. Didn’t realize it takes hours to warm up. Second night we turn it on early in the day allowing it to warm up for about 5 hours. When we realize it turned off and water was still the same temperature. I think you should check the spa. We were looking forward to using it. Not our luck! Best, Janessa S.

The host goes out of her way to accommodate anything you could possibly need or even desire! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that no detail was overlooked in making this a comfortable and accessible home. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ADA-compliant house. The house is thoughtfully designed with a lower-level bedroom with a lift, an accessible bathroom, and ramps at the front door making it easy for everyone to enjoy their time here. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ever need, and the open living area has plenty of seating for our entire group. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was top of the line. The outdoor space was equally inviting, with a large patio, koi pond, large jacuzzi, gas fire pit, and bikes available to ride.

We had a lovely stay! The location was really nice and close to everything. The best part was the hot tub after a cold day tubbing with the kids.. Great price, great location, had a great a time.

Staying at the Cozy Cottage was an amazing experience! I booked the cabin for a weekend trip as a Valentine’s Day present, and our stay there was perfect. Mary Ann & Chuck were both very helpful, they guided us to an alternate route to the cabin to avoid an icy/snowy hill, and made sure we got there okay. As far as the cabin itself goes, there’s really nothing bad to say. The heaters upstairs and downstairs work great, and they work fast. You don’t need to go above 68° to really feel warm. The water pressure & heat in the shower is great, the bathroom’s immaculately clean, and very well-themed! The master bedroom is also very well put together. Everything is labeled, but non-obstructively; you only see them when you need them! We made sure to follow the guide & instructions in welcome packet & introductory e-mail, and we had no questions. Check-out was very flexible, and the amenities are amazing. Make sure to sign the guest book if you visit :) 10/10!!

This was by far the best experience I’ve had thus far staying in California! Kristin was incredible, always available to help & extremely nice! Totally above and beyond and I’d love to stay at her place again!

Our stay in Big Bear at Jon's cottage was nothing short of perfect for a work/play trip. The house is super comfortable and highly functional. We deeply appreciated all the amenities such as the bikes, ping pong, hot tub, snacks, coffee, full spice rack, ice in the freezer, great Wifi, and central heating. The location is great being close to the ski areas and the three grocery stores in town. Our dog loved spending time on the deck looking for squirrels and chipmunks. We look forward to returning for another family trip someday.

The Calipe cottage was cozy and convenient not far from plenty of restaurants and activities gave us the mountain feel for sure! We did travel with our 2 year old and they provided little toys for him and books which was cute the only thing was that after dark it was really hard to see outside or to be outside spa light was a small red light which made it kinda scary for us to be outside to enjoy the hot tub but if you love peace and quiet and mountain feel you will for sure love it ! The bathroom is cute and small but my husband is big and bulky and in picture it did look bigger than what it actually was. Host was super quick in responding which was great we didn’t have any issues and all questions were answered quickly! Thank you for having us 🙏🏼

The place is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like you are in the middle of the forest . Is small but just enough for a couple and has all you need. The view is breathtaking and the sunrise is incredible.Lisa made our stay very memorable. We will come back

Great place very welcoming the host were great we got to the cabin early and were able to do early check in which was amazing definitely loved the experience and will be booking here again!

Kelly’s house is beautiful my family and I loved it very peaceful. The view is amazing. House is exactly like the pictures kitchen/bathroom was fully stocked. I would definitely book again.

Super cute stay for my family and I! It was only about 5 minutes from stores which I liked because there was always something we needed. We also received plenty of good recommendations from our host which we did try some! I absolutely loved all of the breakfast spots nearby! Our host was very responsive! I messaged them about a water/shower issue and they had a maintenance worker at our door within about 15-20min, on a Saturday! The kids fully enjoyed the play room. We would come home from our snow play shower, and lounge and play pool the rest of the night. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

This is our second year spending Thanksgiving at Emmett’s Place. There was surprisingly little traffic on the ride up to Big Bear, so Emmett let us check in hours early. Emmett is a responsive, proactive, and friendly host, whose house and furnishings are attractive and very comfortable. My dog loved the fenced-in yard. My adult daughter and I had the best, most relaxing time. Our favorite place in Big Bear is inside Emmett’s house.

J C were gracious host. They would keep checking in if we needed anything. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we’re in lake arrowhead.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this home. Our family absolutely loves it! The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. The home is well-stocked and stylish. The location is beautiful and convenient. We’ve made a lot of good memories here and will be back in the future.

The cabin was clean and as described/pictures. It was a great location close to the lake and good sledding spots. The rooms are spacious, the water was hot and the wifi was strong. Would recommend staying here for sure! I give my highest ratings but think it's worth noting for future guests that (as pictured) there is only a table for 4 people. There are extra chairs but a coffee table or something other than the high bar would be nice with a group of 6+. The kitchen is stocked but missing some essentials (like salt and pepper). Also, when we arrived the heat was off and it was 42* in the cabin which took nearly 24 hours to get to a comfortable temperature and upstairs never really got very warm. There were enough blankets to keep us warm at night though. Also, we ended up with an extra $25 charge for "wasted power usage" which I'm not sure what that's about. Overall we had a lovely time and would like to return!

Perfect place to stay. The village was a 3 minute drive, easily walkable. The village has great food options and shops. Everything is so close from Albine snow play, coaster, zoo, parks, and lake.

Peaceful weekend getaway. Home was as listed and appreciated all the amenities. Only feedback is the loose step on the long staircase was scary. Slipped a few times and believe it’s a simple fix. Overall lovely quiet weekend. Thank you.

Great, walkable location in Big Bear. We chose the perfect time to be in this cute mountain town - in between seasons. The neighborhood was extremely quiet with beautiful surroundings. The interior was very clean. However, being the in-between season, the house-cleaners had not yet swept off the decks. We love the pines trees and understand that they also shed so it may be tricky keeping the outdoor space tidy! Communication with management was easy and quick. Only complaint is that the furnace is in a closet near the bedrooms and tends to be a bit loud. All else was great!

Had a great time at this nice cabin; the host was very polite and responsive to our needs. The only complaints were that we couldn't figure out how to use the fireplace because smoke came into the house, and the shower water pressure was too low—it was like sprinkles. Other than that, my issue was with the creepy little town. It felt like people were watching us, but we couldn't see them. The lake was closed off, and if you are politically sensitive, there were huge Trump signs everywhere. i was looking for something close to big bear lake and this place is like 45 mins away from the lake. but the cabin and the host were awesome . But just in Erie town, I probably would not stay there again. It felt like something from a horror movie.

Great place. Larger than expected. There is a mini fridge with a freezer. It was great for the price. The tub was very nice. Lots of hot water. Would recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay at this cabin! It was super clean and had such cozy, homey vibes—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully put together. I’d 100% stay here again without hesitation!
