Well maintain Hebridean cottage style property, on the east coast of Harris. The cottage is set up cosy for summer or winter with electric heating . Cottage has, games ,books, picnic basket and a airfyer Smart TV DVD player .Dark Skies Area Excellent area for getting off the beaten track , otters, sea eagles . Close enough to Leverburgh for trips to St Kilda and all other amenities. Cottage on the shoreline with lovely bay. The east side of Harris is single track roads with passing places.

Two bedroom wooden cabin overlooking the Minch

A unique small house on a private croft hosted by Grant & Lorna who are from Harris and live 300m next door to the cabin. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and a large open plan living space with kitchen. We are 10 minutes from Tarbert and 30 mins from the west side beaches. A wood burning stove will keep you warm in the evenings. A large wrap around balcony is lovely for sitting outside and watching the seals and otters in the bay, we do get midges so repellant is advised.

Tranquil Cottage with Stunning Sea Views

Number 6 is a cosy cottage just 4 miles from Tarbert. The house is in an elevated position which has stunning views of the sea and the old whaling station. It has a cosy sun room with a wood burner, as well as outdoor seating so you can take in the view in style. We offer week long stays, Friday to Friday, March to October. We then move to shorter stays (min of 3 nights) from November to February. The house also benefits from free WiFi and a local produce welcome hamper on arrival.

Our visitors enjoy the incredible views and enjoy spotting wildlife in the bay.

Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. Fantastic views, private off-road parking, washing & drying facilties. Great location for exploring the island, and within a short distance of various designated walking tracks. A ten minute drive takes you to the village of Tarbert where you find cafes, gift shops, convenience stores and much more. A twenty five minute drive will take you the fantastic, renowned beaches of West Harris.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed.
