The Sassafras Breeze

The Sassafras is our most private cabin. Secluded at the end of a driveway, it is surrounded by nature. One can hear the mountain streams from the large, covered porch. The furnishings are appropriately rustic yet modern in every since of the word. Free, dependable, high-speed, fiber internet and a smart TV are just two of the recent upgrades. In winter enjoy the floor to ceiling stacked stone gas log fireplace. Hike to a mountain top or visit a rushing stream...all without leaving the property.

Timberwood Cottage, located in Gorgeous Nantahala!

Pictures do not do this little peace of Heaven justice. It is so adorable, with 20 ft ceilings it is very spacious and open. The wood burning fireplace makes it for very cozy evening along with the firepit outside and a little soak in the Hot tub to finish off a great night.This little gem is centrally located in Nantahala with tons of activities, such as fishing, hiking, rafting, boating and skiing on Lake Nantahala. Our cabin is located 12 miles out of Franklin, NC near the Little Tennessee River. We are in easy traveling distance to whitewater rafting, kayaking both flat water and whitewater, fly fishing rivers, gem mining, zip lining, horseback riding, Deep Creek tubing, river tubing , The Appalachian Trail, hiking trails, waterfalls, Smoky Mountain Train excursions, Cherokee attractions/casino, Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Elk viewings and Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

Secluded tiny cabin with hot tub near white river rafting, 1 mile to lake Nantahala, hiking trails and waterfalls everywhere! Great fishing the lake and river, 1 1/2 miles to Nantahala Wedding Venue. Enjoy , ping pong, fire pit, porch swing. 13miles to Andrews or NOC, for closest grocery store, pubs, restaurants. I do NOT allow pets due to allergies. No smoking inside of cabin. outside smoking ok. You will have a wonderful,private, relaxing time at my cabin. extra parking for boat, etc.
