Braeburn at The Appleton Retreat is down a 1/2 mile driveway, on 120 acres of private land, bordered by a 1,300 acre Nature Conservancy reserve. A 25 minute trail leads to a large secluded pond, perfect for a refreshing swim. Braeburn feels like a treehouse, with expansive windows, overlooking woods and wildlife. After a hike, grilling on the porch or dinner out, indulge in your private therapeutic year round hot tub.

Our serene cottage sits on 16 private acres on the north end of Greenland Cove in Muscongus Bay. A short walk will get you to the ocean to swim off the rocks, stroll on our fern covered paths and take in the breathtaking views of the cove and nearby estuary and salt pond. There is a large amount of bird and sea life, including bald eagles, blue heron, osprey, seals and plenty of fish. 15 minutes to town. I do have a business down in basement -hair salon- not typically an issue ( I try not to be open when I have guests)
