The Pond House at Salkehatchie Farms

The Pond House is a secluded getaway in the woods with double glass doors throughout the house so you can enjoy nature, even while you are inside. It sits at the end of the winding drive through dogwoods in the spring, green trees in summer and colored leaves in autumn. There is a small pond on the edge of the property. Outdoor patios are a wonderful place to breathe in the early morning air, watch a sunset, or grill. There is plenty of room for walks and the property is yours to explore.

This is our personal home and we want to occasionally share it with our guests. This lovely, Italian, Renaissance house was built in 1933. There is plenty of room to relax and enjoy family or friends. The kitchen features an indoor charcoal grill that you are welcome to use. The kitchen is fully furnished with cookware and plenty of dishes. All you need is to bring your groceries. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the spacious front porch, encircled by the beautiful live oaks.

The Out Aways House offers idyllic country sights, sounds, and living. This house, situated on a point in a pond, offers it’s guests peace and tranquility. At night you can listen to the crickets and tree frogs sing. By day you can relax on the screened in porch and melt away your stress. The property is located less than an hours car ride from the airport in Augusta, GA and the airport in Columbia, SC. It is also located less than an hour away from Augusta National Golf Club.

This cabin is located inside our 3 acre campground, has 2 bedrooms, a full bath and full kitchen! Relaxing, peaceful atmosphere - make sure to check out our dark night sky stars! Nice, quiet, wooded setting. Charcoal grill, fire pit, picnic table provided. We do have firewood and ice for sale onsite as well. Very close to hunting and fishing opportunities. Rural setting off county maintained dirt road yet easy day trips to Statesboro, Augusta, Savannah, and Charleston.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars Just kick back and relax and enjoy the quiet setting lots of walking trails and even riding bicycle have your breakfast on the front porch or the gazebo close by this cabin has one queen size bed and a sofa bed suitable for 4 people please no pets or smoking. Ellzey Place is a peaceful spot where you can relax and unwind. Enjoy having a cup of coffee on the deck facing a spacious private back yard. There are lots of azaleas that bloom in season and pines swaying in the breeze. It is a charming apartment attached to the owner's house but has a private deck and entrance. It has been newly remodeled and delightfully decorated.

Enjoy having a cup of coffee relaxing in the swing on the front deck or sitting on the back deck facing the woods and watching the chickens pecking for food. Or take a stroll down the lane and inspect the muscadine/scuppernong vines and enjoy luscious grapes and figs in season. Enjoy a slice of country life on 2 1/2 acres.
