Mema’s House

Mema’s was the model home when Fort Clark Springs Unit 1 was opened. Hand-carved wood furniture throughout is original to the house. Newly renovated front half of the townhome is available for stays now, with more to come! Comfy queen bed in the main bedroom, queen sofa bed in the living room, large queen air bed with back support fits easily in the living/dining room. Enjoy the piano, or the front patio that faces the water fountain in the common courtyard, or even the gated private back patio.

N.I.C.E. - Neat Inviting Comfortable Entertaining!

There are 2 living spaces and 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom has separate outside entrance and another entrance into the main house. There is also a sofa bed. There is a nice covered patio with a grill. Very spacious dining room with huge table open to TV room for large gatherings. Kitchen opens up to the living room and living room can open up to the dining/TV room. Every room has ceiling fan and all rooms have TV. Covered parking for 1 vehicle. No houses behind property.

Located front and center of this gated historical community, you are able to walk to the Fort's museum, down to swim in one of the top ten spring fed pools in Texas, or just take a stroll around all the historic buildings and homes. There is also an 18 hole golf course, and you are welcome to bring your golf cart as transportation around the Fort. We recommend an evening ride to enjoy all the wildlife the Fort has to offers.

Historical Calvary Wagon Master Getaway

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This 1892 jewel was originally used as the wagon master building for the US Calvary to service the mule and horse wagons on Fort Clark just across from the Historic Museum. The large 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms are spacious for you and your guests for your comfort. The property also has a large loft area with room for air mattresses (not provided). Enjoy the high vaulted ceilings and relax off the patio overlooking your personal garden.
