The Old Stable provides comfortable self contained accommodation in the picturesque village of Stanford in the Vale, located in the beautiful Vale of White Horse close to the Ridgeway. We are 12 miles west of Oxford and within easy reach of the Cotswolds and River Thames. Village amenities include a pub, cafe and supermarket. The accommodation, located on two floors with private entrance, has an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and TV sitting area. There is an en-suite bath/shower.

Studio in townhouse, kitchen, ensuite, garden

A self-contained studio suite with private kitchenette, en-suite shower room and garden on the step-free ground floor of our townhouse home. The studio is 5 mins walk to Wantage Sq. The neighbourhood is quiet with walks close by. NOTE: Whilst we are flexible with check-in/out, to allow cleaning time, please ask us if you intend to check in before 4pm, or check out after 10am. There is some household noise from 6am on weekdays and we have an aloof cat who is not allowed in the studio.

The cottage dates back to 1800’s sympathetically renovated. It sits perfectly along a farm lane on the edge of a pretty village Bourton. Close and within easy reach to many interesting destinations to explore both cities, Oxford, Bath, Bristol, countryside spots White Horse Hill, Avebury, The Ridgeway, The Cotswolds. Set in a secluded spot with great open space gardens, views, it’s own mini paddock and nearby woodland, great place to relax, two bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room.

In Tudor times the Dovecote providing doves to the Royal Palaces Today, the dovecote has undergone extensive restoration, converting it into a charming living space, with modern facilities and fast Wifi. Now it's ideal for different purposes from a relaxing getaway, to a home from home for a business traveller or a quiet space to study. The Dovecote has a modern kitchen with a dining Table.

With unencumbered views of the Uffington White Horse and the Ridgeway, cosy log burner, bubbling wood fired hot tub this is the perfect place to hideaway with your loved one. Planted next to the veg patch and in the quiet, private paddock to the side of our home, the Veg Patch Pod is a unique space built specifically for your comfort and delight. Located on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, whilst in a rural setting both Oxford and Swindon are within easy reach.

Symonds Barn is a spacious converted barn set in the middle of Childrey, a village on the edge of the Ridgeway, only 15 miles from Oxford. Choose between enjoying an escape to the countryside, with delicious meals in one of the many local cafes and pubs and walks through some really beautiful countryside (it’s a 5 minute drive onto the Ridgeway), or take advantage of the nearby shopping and culture in Oxford, Marlborough, Hungerford or Burford.

"Small but perfectly formed" - our converted garage is now a bright, light, airy, and stylish air-conditioned, one bedroomed annexe attached to our house. Perfect for one or two people, and the lounge sofa bed will also accommodate a child or teenager comfortably. Situated in the same locale as the UK Defence Academy The Annexe offers an excellent base for an extended stay for anyone attending courses at the Defence Academy.
