If you are looking for some vintage charm by the sea and you love the sound of seagulls, Gull Cottage set over 3 floors is the one for you. It's a wonderful place to get away from the day to day stresses with the beach and the sea gulls making it feel like a proper holiday every time. It has loads of character and is as comfortable, in the summer or the winter with either the mature garden or the snug to relax in. The road is made up of pastel colour houses with a real sense of the neighbourly.

The back decking is Perfectly positioned on the cliff edge allowing for a perfect place to relax and soak up the sounds and view of the sea. Kingsdown is a pretty village with its beach framed by the magnificent white cliffs of Dover; offering wonderful clifftop walks. There is also a promenade taking you along the seafront directly into Deal.

Our cosy family cottage, Seafarers, is a traditional fisherman's cottage in the beautiful village of Kingsdown. It's 50 yards from the beach with a sunny south facing garden. The house is bright and airy yet retains a very cosy English seaside cottage feel. We love spending time there, especially our children, spending days swimming in the sea in the summer or sitting in front of the fire reading in winter. *we will waive our strict cancellation policy if govt restrictions forbid travel.

The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Deal town is about 10 mins drive away and has a wealth of shops and restaurants. Great market on Saturdays

This beautiful and peaceful setting is an ideal base to explore White Cliffs Country.

A self contained double bedroom with en-suite shower room. A fridge, microwave, kettle and crockery allows basic self catering. There is WiFi and a smart TV. There is a small seating area inside and another available outside on a patio area. A simple breakfast of cereals and croissants.

Beautiful bolthole near the White Cliffs of Dover

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.
