One of a kind Log Cabin - natural raw wood feel and look. Hardwood floor, ceramic tile\new shower. Great for Winter stays, the wood stove keeps it very warm. AC keeps it cool in the Summer, 3 piece bathroom with new shower, furnished living\dining room, kitchen: electric stove\oven, new fridge\freezer, new microwave, new toaster, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans. Patio furniture provided outside, porch overlooking the river, fire pit, picnic table, propane BBQ. 150 acres, forest & trails.

The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Puerto Betty

Welcome to Puerto Benoir, a water front cottage on Benoir Lake. This cottage has been renovated from top to bottom and is right on the edge of Algonquin Provincial Park. Satellite TV with premium programming and WIFI high speed internet with unlimited data is included. Gradual entry into the sand bottom lake is what you will find. The cottage has a dock which can hold boat, and there is a swim raft out in the bay. The cottage has 2 paddle boats, 2 kids kayaks and 2 adult kayaks.

The Cabin

PLEASE READ! This little rustic OFF GRID cabin is perfect for that quiet getaway in nature you have been needing. If you are a lover of the outdoors, this is a location for you. Fisherman and snowmobilers welcomed. No electricity or running water. We repeat, no electricity or running water! No shower, however a rustic outhouse is available - you are fancy camping. Water jugs and firewood for the wood stove and bon fire are provided.

1800s Timber Trail Lodge

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style. First floor is kitchen and living room area, second floor bedroom and washroom - snow mobile and four wheeler trails near by

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

Reconnect with nature at a private retreat on a scenic bend of the river. The gentle rapids provide a natural soundtrack and ever changing view over moving water. Observe birds, plants and wildlife from the dock or private riverside gazebo. Paddle, float, fish or swim in the river. Relax inside the well equipped retro style cabin looking out at beautiful views. Explore nearby waterfall hikes and charming small towns.

THE KABINKA No service, no electricity, no plumbing, no problems WINTER: 4x4 access or park at the road and 5 minute walk in (sled provided) "Kabinka" is the name of our eastern European inspired Chalet. She is unadorned, a simple off-grid shelter for your wilderness retreat. Configured equally for a large party of family/friends, or for a couple's weekend away (groups over 4 are charged more)

Beautiful lakefront cottage on quiet lake.

Our clean and cozy cottage has a beautiful sun porch and comfortably sleeps four people. We are situated on a quiet lake with great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is available for free. Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
