I recently stayed at this wonderful Airbnb for my sisters’ bachelorette trip and it was a fantastic experience! The house was incredibly cozy and clean. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to downtown, where you’ll find plenty of shopping and delicious restaurants. Additionally, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!

Highly recommended if you’re going to OBX. Very nice house, very clean and spacious and close to beach and everything.the host is great, Very responsive and went above and beyond for me and family to have a great relaxing stay. My kids loved the pool. Will definitely come back again. Thanks Shawn

My mom and I stayed for a short weekend and we wish it would have been longer! The space felt cozy and relaxing. My mom even said she didn’t want to get up in the morning because the bed was so warm and comfy. We were able to walk to and from the beach easily! Lisa was so attentive and helpful and answered all of our questions. The area was quiet and didn’t hear any of the neighbors! We would recommend the space to anyone and already plan to come back!

Southern Shores Personal Resort

Without a doubt one of the best places we have stayed in. Alan was easy to communicate with and super responsive . The house was beautiful and in a peaceful area. Neighbors were wonderful. Kitchen was easy to cook meals in and had everything we needed. Beds were clean and comfortable, showers were hot and towels were fluffy! The sound was a walk down the driveway and had great sunsets. Beach access was less than a 8 minute drive. Beach towels and all things you need were available. Pool was perfect and clean. The canal at the back of the house was great and lots of wildlife to hang out with. We would without a doubt come back again!! Just loved this place so much!! Thank you Alan for making our vacation so stress free and enjoyable!!

Tidepool Offers Top-Shelf Style and Privacy

After the wife and I were looking to make a spontaneous trip, we knew we would look no other place than Tidepool. This is the second time visiting this amazing property, but this time bringing a new addition, our baby boy. The house had everything we needed not only to have fun as new parents, but to keep our boy comfortable. Our dogs also enjoyed the backyard! That being said, the amenities here are superb and things to-do for everyone. We visited in the cool month of April so the heated pool was a major, unique bonus of visiting OBX. Can’t wait for our next visit to Tidepool!

My family had a great stay in Duck! The house was clean, comfortable, so cute and well-stocked with everything we needed. We loved the beach decor, the pool and hot tub were great and everything looked just like the pictures. LeAnne and Kelsey were very responsive and helpful hosts and the guide they provided at check in was very helpful with suggesting restaurants and other fun things to explore in the area. This is a great Airbnb and we would love to stay here again!

Beautiful cottage with hot tub and community pool.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved that we could utilize the community pool since the beach had red flags during our entire stay. The beach access private parking was also a plus. Hot tub was a great way to end the day. Lots of space for family meals at the dinning room table.

Great hidden gem in Southern Shores! A nice walk to the beach was only 10 minutes and well shaded. Most days the beach was empty and felt pretty secluded. The close parking lot option is also good for those who prefer a shorter walk. House was fully stocked with everything we needed for the week, including extras like all the beach supplies, games and chairs. Brand new coffee pot also a nice surprise. The pool area was fantastic and much nicer than other pools we’ve had onsite at OBX. The teenage boys loved the slide and also was fully stocked with floats, games, etc. The outdoor fridge, wet bar and bathroom right there made it easy to hang out at the pool all day. A tropical storm was moving through for a part of the week and Mary was sure to communicate with us about the crew coming through to secure all outside furniture.

Wonderful Home! We really enjoyed are stay here! I loved the open feel on this inside as well as all the balcony’s to go out and listen to the ocean and see the sun come up or look at the stars at night. My favorite part is the spacious backyard with the fire pit! And a big shoutout to Shane for being an exceptional host!

This airbnb worked very well for our stay. The unit served our needs very well. They were finishing extensive construction outside, with a new inground pool, concrete driveways, and laying sod. It did not affect our stay, except that we anticipated sitting by the pool!

Debbie-Lyn and her cohost Christina, were very responsive answering questions and easy to deal with. The unit was very clean with a comfortable bed and we liked the privacy afforded by the location. We enjoyed our stay and would do so again should we return to Kitty Hawk. We would recommend the Carolina Cabana for any couple looking for an AirBnB in the Kitty Hawk area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host, Nicki, was wonderful to work with. She was very informative, helpful and quick to respond with any questions that we had. The home and surroundings were beautiful. The house was extremely clean, open and inviting and the views from the property and grounds were absolutely stunning. We will definitely consider future stays with Nicki and even possibly at this home again in the future.

Grateful for a weekend away in the OBX. If you like to run or walk, you can get to a great paved path/sidewalk near the ocean front with ease from this house. Close to everything! Also, neighborhood pool (small fee) was a great amenity!

Beth Ann's home was amazing to stay in! The house has everything you could ask for and the amenities there are incredible. From the pool to the crows nest and everything in between we could not have been more happy! You are easily within walking distance to the beach and restaurants and a very short drive from everything else. She was incredibly responsive and helpful which made the stay even more enjoyable! We 100% hope to stay there again!

A wonderful house that felt like home away from home just a short walk from the beach and Duck. Communication with host was no problem and all was as advertised/exceeded our expectations. House was spacious and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need and the outdoor spaces (porch, deck, pool, sand area) were all so nicely maintained. The pool was wonderful and the pool and beach toys were a big hit for our 2year old. We hope to return next year!

Great place to stay! Hosts were kind and responsive to any questions we had. The home was very clean and children friendly. I really appreciated the built in child gate on the top floor. Bathrooms and showers were great, including an outdoor shower to rinse off after being in the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Plenty to do nearby, seaside beach access was a short car ride away, and the pool was private and relaxing.

Excellent Stay and such a cozy spot! From the picture and the sleeping 6, I thought there were 4 twins and 1 queen, but only 2 twins and a couch. No worries though, we settled in and it was WONDERFUL! Thank you again! ❤️

Exactly as expected, pictures say it all! Very clean, easy to communicate with the host, well appointed condo. With 4 kids, it can be tough to find something everyone likes to do, no problem with the recommendations and coupons! Thank you!! 2nd time booking with Rick in Duck. Perfect location, peaceful & quiet. Love the shower upgrade in the master bath!! His place never disappoints on the views & more important, comfort. We had a great stay!

Martin was a super responsive host. Anything we needed he was there to help. The place was gorgeous and in a really nice location. The unit was right next to the pool and tucked away from the main road. The pool was nice and it wasn't too crowded when we went. If you look really close you can see the ocean from the private balcony. Parking wasn't an issue for us. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Would 100% recommend staying here if you don't want to be right on the beach but close enough that it takes 3 minutes to drive the the beach access. Overall, this was the perfect place for our girls trip.

What a great location! We could walk everywhere we needed to go and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the rental, the pictures do not do it justice! We would definitely rent this property again in the future.
